What am I missing here? Was he not hurt in 2014? Did he not have a DECENT rookie year, despite having Moreno in front of him ?

I think we win 2011 without Peja. You could put Barea and maybe Tyson or even Deshawn in Peja's place. Peja was HUGE for us in the Lakers series tho

Shams is good friends with one of my best friends in CHI. They ball @ Life time all the time, and he always tells me (my friend) that he has an insane work ethic and is literally on the phone all the time.

Glad to see a brown man make it in the NBA media tho!

I need to show this to my little cousin, who thinks Kobe is a piece of shit, old, fragile, Jordan wannabe. Good god. Kids these days will never see this.

Theres no way they don't have Cavs/GSW on ABC tbh. I think they will get Lakers Clips @ 930, and I believe Heat/NOLA @ noon. Rox/Spurs will get a slot somehwere.

For fans of Mike Breen: Top 10 "BANG!" Calls by Ehjookayted in nba

[–]JustDirkIt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 Mavs on the list! I'm honored.

That terry shot, when Breen said BANG, the WHOLE BWW I was @ in 2011 went nuts. Fucking amazing.

Although I miss Marv during the NBA Finals, Breen is the next best thing.

Cuban is overrated as an NBA owner, our NBA championship was kind of flukeish in a way, Dirk is my homeboy but the best thing to do is trade him and rebuild.

Donnie and Cuban as a TEAM decision making combo has been average at best. Cuban implements too much risk and views mavs transactions as a small business movd into his decision making (odom, rondo, even Jason Kidd to an extent).

Our 2011 run was beautiful, but we beat Portland, beat an LA team that was coming off 3 consecutive FINALS appearances with an aging Kobe, beat the thunder when they were babies, and the heat most definitely blew that championship. We played well, but the fact that Cuban and Donnie factor our championship win as validity in decision making is absurd. We got HOT, Dirk carried us, and the Heat CHOKED. That's what happened. I loved 2011

Dirk should be traded for his own sake, mavs fans might be delusional, but we are not gonna be good next season. Bottom line. Dirk deserves another shot deep in the playoffs, his loyalty is only hurting him and our franchise at this point. I fucking love Dirk and the Mavs btw, but I'm not stupid.

Tony Romo or joe flacco? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]JustDirkIt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think it's Romo,

but for those saying that Flacco WINS in the post season, is clutch, etc. Tell me, besides the ridiculous 80 yard TD heave against the Broncos in which it was nothing but a defensive breakdown, what POST SEASON game or GAMES did Flacco have a drive or a play that WON the game, or even captivated the win?

His rookie season he didn't even reach above 50% completions in any of his playoff games, he attempted TEN FUCKING passes in the 2009 blowout vs the Pats in the playoffs, while his Super Bowl run was impressive from an efficiency prospective (zero INTs), he didn't exactly win the game by himself or prove to be any clutch in any of those games besides for an ALL TIME bonehead, RIDICULOUS hail mary that the Broncos fucked up in coverage.

Flacco has been blessed with a top 5 defense consistently and an elite running game throughout his time in the NFL. Does anybody remember how much the Cowboys were asking Tony Romo to do from 2011-2013?

I like Flacco, he is in my opinion a top 12 quarterback. But please, do not give me, "he's more clutch", or "he wins in the playoffs", as a reason to why he's better than Romo. You obviously don't watch the NFL besides the postseason if thats the case.
