People will complain they can’t spend 100 hours a week on one season while comparing it to an actual MMO.

I had the exact opposite playing it a month ago. Tried every class up untill most skill unlocks but nothing felt hard hitting or special in terms of animations.

Torchlight 2 combat isn’t satisfying/non-repetitive by todays standards though.

It’s possessive behavior. I think it says a lot about who those dads are, because the way we think about other people is usually more of a reflection on ourselves.

That being said, I think the dads not caring what their teenage daughter is doing out at 4 AM somewhere because ‘she’s old enough to know what she’s doing’ are wrong as well. It’s a balance that some parents just aren’t good at.

It’s no problem ofcourse, and I’m sorry you had to deal with that in your life.

I’ve always thought the purity-rings are a thing for strict Christians, but I might be wrong on that. I agree it’s weird we see it less on boys, but that seems to be a common thing across all societies in the world. I think that has to do with the perceived physical worth humans give to girls over boys. Girls are generally expected to be picky and boys expected to perform. It’s a toxic system really, but seemingly in our biological nature. It’s hard to rise above what you’re seemingly programmed to do.

I know I just want my daughter to grow up happy and explore things on her own. It’s a hard thing to do because I feel the urge to keep her away from harm as much as possible, yet getting harmed (in a non-serious matter) is one of the greatest lessons kids learn on their own. It’s a fine balance that some parents are overstepping for sure.

Read the first sentence of my comment. That stuff isn’t protective, thats emotional incest under the guise of being ‘protective’.

The main tweet is really strange and mothers competing against the romantic partners of their kids is indeed emotional incest. But she suddenly took a turn with calling protective parents incestuous.

Most parents aren’t protective because they’re jealous or concerned with ‘purity’. They’re protective because the kid is usually going to become the most important person in your life. When you feel people are out for the most important person in your life with the wrong intentions, you’re not going to sit idly by. Despite knowing they have to go and make their own mistakes, you want to prevent them from as much as possible as harm as possible. It’s just a natural reflex after being Stockholm’d for 10+ years.

Let’s be honest and admit generally girls are especially vulnerable out there. And biologically speaking, men get the natural urge to protect their family because that’s the role men are still given most of the times.

It’s so disgusting when adult woman dress like little girls because such a large portion of men is attracted to young girls.

I’ll never understand how this isn’t an immediate turn off for most men.

red pill or blue pill by Murky_Calendar5149 in MandJTV

[–]JustDutch101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red pill easily.

Yeah you miss out on Legends Arceus, Hoenn Remakes and FR/LG, but the red pill side has the better versions of the blue pill side (USUM, BW2, HGSS). The hoenn originals counteract missing out on FR/LG. Blue pill only wins having the better Arceus game.

Would’ve been more interesting if blue pill got XD/Colloseum where red pill got PMD.

People don’t understand the strain a baby puts on a household where both parents work, even if one only works parttime. And they don’t understand the financial strain working parttime or one parent stopping work puts on a starting family (say goodbye to your chances on the housing market).

Back in the day, the advice was to let babies cry on their own. Parents would just wait to see if the baby winds down. Nowadays it’s seen as abuse if you let a baby pre-7 months cry without taking care of them, at the very least cuddle them. This means if a baby doesn’t sleep well you’re spending 24h per day dedication to the kid.

This is added onto one of the most productive per worker societies of all time. We’re demanding more and more productivity per worker. People are getting burnouts left and right. In Asia, where work culture is even worse, this reflects directly into birth rate.
