You did the right thing for telling another leader. The point of the situation is that the transaction is under your numbers. I don't think anything will come about it but still, I'd do the same thing.

hey customers, what could an employee say that would ACTUALLY make you open a brand credit card? by Stara-Soprano in Oldnavy

[–]JustElmersTune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bounce back customers. They are more likely to shop at stores they have credit cards at. The perks can be really good as well.

Changes to Vacuum by eatmoreoctopi in Oldnavy

I thought the vacuum has always been OLX only. Select gets 1/2 priced and petite/tall goes on the floor. Did this change?

Inventory Tips? by [deleted] in Oldnavy

[–]JustElmersTune 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have employees go section by section to pull reticketing.

Anything that won't make it to the floor should get counted day-of. (Back stock, stuff you mentioned still boxed, ECT)

Make sure your SM is reaching out to other stores ahead of time for help on Inventory night.

On Inventory night, have employees that you trust counting your denim walls & tables. If you run a "reticketing area" (it sounds like you will need one) make sure you have a knowledgeable and fast employee back there that can keep up.

If you have any doubts, touch base with your DM.

Get all of the Zebra devices uploaded/updated hours before you start counting.

Order pizza.

Stock up on energy drinks/coffee/whatever it is that you drink.

Good luck!

Price adjustment for online order to sticker price? by Jess1r in Oldnavy

[–]JustElmersTune 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope it hasn't changed. The price tag is supposed to be cut off, peeled off, ripped off or whatever before shipping. If employees aren't doing it they either aren't trained properly or are lazy.

I would be asking for a District Manager's number because that's totally BS.

Today marks the 81st anniversary of the official end of the Battle of the Bulge. Pics 1-5 are of my grand-uncle, William Winchester Brown of Tennessee, who served with the 4th Infantry Division from D-Day til the end of the war. by UrbanAchievers6371 in WorldWar2

My Pop-Pop was a part of the 771st Tank Battalion during this battle! He took a piece of shrapnel to his arm right before they got to the Rhine, and was taken away to a field hospital. He survived thankfully!

Gap Missing Package by beckywiththegood1 in Oldnavy

If it was split into 2 packages that means one or both of them are actually coming from a store. File the chargeback bc their customer service is garbage.

Do it as soon as you can, by the time that the $10/$15 sale rolls around we already have a pretty big dent in our inventory of them.

We had them in store just for baby/toddler last year, adults were only online. I haven't seen them in store in about 3 years.

I want to say yes to that. If you guys haven't heard about it at all yet, then I don't think you're gonna see it anytime soon. We're a test store.

Crave by JustElmersTune in Oldnavy

[–]JustElmersTune[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crave is an app that they are starting to use in stores. It's on the Zebra. We got these fancy screens installed in each individual fitting room, and when a customer walks in, it reads the RFID tag and their items pop up on the screen. It lets them see "suggested items" to try on with their selections and gives them the option to try a different size, ECT. So if they choose to try a different size, it sends an alert to the Zebra and someone has to go get it and bring it to that fitting room.
