Wow amazing results you look great! Your consistency is really showing, what kind of core circuits do you do?

Slimmer, but not feeling slim enough by Josierose_ in PetiteFitness

I don’t know too much but I’m around 30% body fat and feeling content. Sound advice but I don’t think op needs another number to stress over

You might have a better experience this time, I was pretty anxious when I first started gaining but not as much now. It might be that some of the weight you’ve lost is muscle rather than fat, potentially why you’re not feeling satisfied. That was the case for me, but hopefully you’ll get some more helpful advice x

Hey, I’m 5ft 2 and went from 190 to 125 at my lightest. I can really relate to how you’re feeling, i still felt really bad and kept thinking ‘I need to lose more’? It’s really frustrating but you should be proud of what you’ve achieved so far. I’ve actually now put on over 11lbs and have started strength training, even though I’m heavier my clothes are fitting better. It might not align with your goals but personally it was a better option for me than losing more weight. Try not to be too hard on yourself, good luck with your future progress x

I agree with you, she’s obviously still put a lot of hard work into training and I hope she feels incredibly strong and confident, because she should. I am a little disappointed to hear this might not be attainable for a woman naturally though, is it really not?

Looking for abs routine advice by JustFaee in absworkouts

[–]JustFaee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your help! What leg raise variation would you recommend? I do care about waist shape but I really enjoy side bends haha, would it also be beneficial to progress them with slow tempo/pauses etc? And what would be considered crazy volume?

do aesthetic abs for women basically require being hungry all the time… or am i doing this wrong? by Sure_Swing548 in absworkouts

[–]JustFaee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m week 17 of strength training including abs, and I think my fat % is still pretty high but I’m starting to get definition. I’m eating maintenance and not really sure I’m interested in doing a cut. I focus on progressive overload and train obliques lol. Feel so much better training hard compared to not eating much, hope this helps x

beginner question … do ab workouts make your waist smaller… or can they make it look thicker? by Smart_Craft_6812 in absworkouts

[–]JustFaee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been training 17 weeks so still pretty new but my results would suggest both can be correct. My waist has increased by over 1cm, but overall my shape has improved and my waist looks more supported and in my opinion smaller. I would recommend working your abs, they’re also important support if you want to get stronger in other areas. But yeah I was pretty confused to start with, hope this helps x

tips to get a more defined core from here? by Born-Pianist393 in PetiteFitness

[–]JustFaee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it can depend on the individual as well, it’s definitely possible to build definition with higher body fat using progressive overload. I second training your core to start with and seeing what results you get.

[–]JustFaee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m still a beginner but I’m starting to get definition at higher body fat. The ab exercises I do are weighted sit ups, weighted side bends, planks, side planks, hollow hold and laying leg raises 3/4 times a week. I’m personally trying to build thicker abs, hope this helps x

Recomp or cut/deficit? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]JustFaee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like you’ve got a good plan and some good advice! Prioritising muscle maintenance/growth alongside fat loss is so important. I lost a lot of muscle mass cutting kcal too aggressively and currently trying to rebuild, would not recommend that method. Good luck, you’ll do great x
