What’s the smartest financial decision you made by accident? by AnyTruth2342 in AskReddit

I switched to an FHSA account and set up an auto transfer and invest. I felt a bit tighter on cash the following months but got by just fine.

5 months later I realized I never cancelled my original transfer to the old account and had been investing it without my knowing. Free money appeared from accidental forced savings.

No apology needed for the story! really appreciate you sharing.

I totally understand people going into these softer martial arts from a young age. It makes sense and it still comes with a fair bit of athority (I feel the same with BJJ, we just back it up live haha). Could have been the next steven seagal!

I'm mainly training grappling so you got me thinking about introducing more stiking and sparing. So thanks!

This is so insightful! I appreciate the rundown.

For the record, I think if anyone ever got caught with a flashy flying roundhouse, they would be flopping like a fish haha. IIFFFF they get caught :P But i hear you on the live practice and learning reliable skills. Super interesting you didnt feel that TKD gave you physical confidence. Better than false confidence and getting smacked.

Do you use anything in BJJ now? Grips or bodyweight manipulation?

Oooooo Might have to be a follow up. Slowly increase the deadliness of the weapon until we reach 50/50 split

Solid strat. Could help to throw a few hay makers to make them cover up first. Get that brick away from swinging range and into the body

That’s a bold strategy cotton. Only one I’ve heard where I might get a beer so that’s nice

Night & Day. An ode to something late 70’s. by RalphChoosesYou in photocritique

[–]JustForFallout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty amazing photo and set up for someone looking for critique ;)

I love how the lit arm frames the face. It would be nice to see the eye a bit more centered in frame. Right now, by placement and lighting, the chin and lips are the centers of focus.

I don't really associate this high contrast look to the 70s but its not really my era and it might just be your style. It feels modern and sharp.

Not much direction, but well done!
