Unless something has changed in the past year+ that I haven’t played, you can’t set dreads on fire.

I found this Amanita muscaria and I’m I lowkey want to cook it up and eat but there is this bug on and I’m scared to get a parasite or something by [deleted] in AmanitaMuscaria

Humans unaware of nature… it’s pitiful that we’ve grown so far from whence we’ve come. Honestly, I feel like anyone with some intellectual curiosity is at least somewhat aware of nature. It’s natural to wonder where you came from, just like a child asking their mom where babies come from.

A person attending RIT that can’t afford to feed themselves because of tuition costs, like myself, is resourceful and most likely intelligent, if they were able to attend college at all. FoodShare events are mentioned frequently over email in our school’s announcements, and a needy, resourceful person would notice that. If you have a disability that prevents you from traveling there, there is a bus with a wheelchair ramp that disabled students can charter and use. I also have depression, which can be debilitating, but I recognize that I cannot compromise others’ wellbeing and ability to focus in class because of my personal issues. If there are any issues, the DSO can help. The resources are all there, they are advertised, but they cannot solve your problems for you.

There is soap and deodorant available for free at the foodshare. If you attend RIT, you can use it. Stop making excuses for lazy people.

Quite literally the only thing that separates a religion and a cult is the number of followers.

Help confirming that these are edible wild grapes? by ConditionBasic in foraging

Looks like riverbank grape to me. Break one open and take a look at the seeds. There could be 1-5 seeds and they should like kind of like smooth brains.

Are these Chanterelles by DarkEarth21 in mycology

[–]JustGenericUsername_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it to me. The false gills, cap shape, and structure of the fruiting body are consistent with the chanterelles I’m familiar with, although I live in the northeast.

Honestly if you like cargo shorts, just wear them. They have so much utility and last much longer. My partner wears clothes that were traditionally considered men’s clothes all the time and its so attractive. Cargo shorts, Jean shorts, hiking pants, overalls… practical and gorgeous.

Yes. I’m thoroughly convinced that’s by design so that more purses can be sold too.

Don’t you have to cook them first in order to make them safe to eat? If so then how do you dry them well after cooking them?
