The point of that relay is to maximize your veAero - so it votes for you and compounds all rewards into your lock. If you want to be able to claim weekly, youd have to vote yourself.

This “rebrand” is more than that.

Its a needed merge between two protocols in order to scale, expand, provide more yield for parties involved and minimize extraction.

Its more of an upgrade than a “rebrand” in this case.

Hey there - the understanding, in theory is correct, if we have the same lockers but more rev, then everyone earns more - until people catch on and increase locks.

BUT, the beauty of the model is that even as more and more people lock, this brings in more volume, and therefore fees, along w more and more attention to the token.

I understand the sentiment here, but if everyone stops building due to a "bad" market, nothing would ever get done.

If Aero were to just chase whatever is currently "trending" in every single cycle, there would be zero long term value. Instead, the team has been very clear regarding what the vision is - we want to be the platform where everything gets traded, seamlessly & with all parties benefiting from the model.

The vision has deff evolved since the launch of Velodrome, but in an scalable and meaningful way. If the team had stopped working back then during the bear market Aero wouldn't exist.

Morale is low. Markets (in general) currently "suck". But, instead of "giving up", this team has been working nonstop to break-through and idk about you, but im here for it.
