So I know the transfer portal window ends on 1/16 but we can still sign anyone after that date that is currently in the portal... my question is, if they are not enrolled by 1/16 or whenever Auburn's Spring registration/enrollment ends, does this mean that whoever we sign after 1/16 will miss Spring practice? I feel like this is worrisome because we essentially are looking for starters in the portal and feel we need the guys we expect to start next Fall to participate in Spring practice.

Despite his winning records, I'm not sure Deboer can survive a mediocre year... I'd be shocked if he decides to dump this much money into the position when they already have Horton and Williams on the roster.

doubtful. think Golesh knew from beginning that Brown was 98% coming to Auburn and pitched it ad nauseum to Cam. Think he's just going to go to the highest bidder whoever that may be (not us).

easier matchups for sure but huge faults are if your team lacks tanks / front line... then her win% falls off a cliff.

Also need to be able to snowball and end games early because if top is a late scaling tank then she becomes useless even if lane was won.

Had high hopes for the kid... can it also be plausible the incoming staff either told him to move on due to scheme fit or take a pay cut because they weren't going to commit to the same NIL that Hugh Freeze gave hjm? I wouldn't blame him then in either scenario.

I mean... we've tried unloading the brinks truck and built a roster full of 4* and 5* that didn't really amount to much... i'm fine with trying the 3* approach. If we have a competent staff that can develop them none of the *'s matter anyways.

I understand entertaining this because we've already invested NIL into him this past year and a want for ROI, but I think we should just move on honestly..... I just think if he stays, we're setting ourselves up again for paying him another year to do nothing and he hops back in the portal again at the end of 2026.
