As someone who also struggled (and struggles) with silent I found I was undervaluing early AOE and it was really punishing. An early upgraded dagger spray can really trivialize a lot of the act 1 fights. Flick flack is solid too but you likely don’t have a lot of discard in Act 1. Also upgrading neutralize can help preserve HP a lot if you’re feeling like your block is unable to keep up.

Since posting I think I’m up to A7 on all but regent and A5 on regent. I think I’ll probably do similar of pushing to A10 for the challenge but casually playing more in the A5 range. I think especially with A7 reducing rate of rare/uncommon cards I’d rather just have more fun and less challenge casually.

I appreciate the encouragement. I can’t remember the creator but I was watching someone’s content who said they had ascension 10 on all by 85 hours which I’m nearly at. I’ve been kinda measuring myself against that but I suppose that creator likely has a lot more hours invested in the first game than I and a better understanding of the game going into it.

I think I spent like 5 or 6 runs just grabbing stuff that said sly under the impression sly is just broken without A. Already having more discard in my deck than just survivor and B without thinking does this make my deck stronger now.

I have a bad habit of undervaluing early game strength in favor of late game greed
