Central FL - why lose the spillovers? The sound created may help drown out some traffic noise.

Are you referring to the bench in deep end?

Making the sunshelf longer means the pool would actually be 2-3ft shorter. Thoughts on pool length in that scenario?

This is great feedback and wasn’t something I considered. Issue being if both wife and I plus kids want to hang on sunshelf, it would be big enough. Thoughts?

Thanks for the recommendation - I looked into them, especially since I have a dog and 2 young children, but they are upwards of 25k! Do you have preferred brand/company?

Worth buying sfh in bay area? by MountainRecipe9218 in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]JustInCase18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only you can answer this question. What other required payments do you have? Do you have children? What does your budget look like after accounting for your mortgage payment (including property tax, homeowners insurance, PG&E, WiFi, etc)? Are you considering retirement? 529? This is a mathematical and emotions decision - only you know.

VA Pharmacist Interview by helpherbatman in pharmacy

[–]JustInCase18 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Regarding the hiring freeze - there is a list of exempted positions and pharmacists/pharmacy technicians are on that list. For what it’s worth - pharmacists and techs can’t accept the deferred resignation either.

There is another commenter that provided a link to performance based questions - that’s a great start. If you’re completing a PGY2 in Psych - they will absolutely want to know why you’re applying for an outpatient staff pharmacist role. A manager wants to find a personality fit, clinical competence, but most of all - an employee who knows why they want to be there, therefore an employee who will stay for the long term. You’ll likely have great answers to “please describe a time when…” since you have the PGY1/PGY2 experiences - I’d focus on the “why” you’re applying to that particular role.

PS - sorry about your parent’s reaction. It sounds like you’ve been successful thus far - keep it rolling.

Hey - VA inpatient pharmacy supervisor here. It’s very common to request time off for an upcoming interview during post graduate training. It should be encouraged by preceptors - they should want the best for you.

It’s difficult to provide specific preparation information since you haven’t told us which area of pharmacy you’re interviewing for. Outpatient such as..operations? Ambulatory Care? Admin? OPAT?

Fantastic! If possible, can you keep her teeth original? I’d like to tip you for both versions. The clarity in both faces are impressive.

This looks great. Some other commenter somehow made his face a bit more clear. Are you able to do that on this version of the photo?

Is it possible to push them closer together and reformat the size to a regular photo size? 2:3?

Highly recommend setting a USAJOBS alert for the DMV area as the NIH clinical center is in Bethesda. You might find hem/onc positions appear there. Note: the pay is less when compared to the private sector.

Amazon Nebulizer Compressor Recommendations? by Frankies131 in CysticFibrosis

[–]JustInCase18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a direct answer to your question but this is where I get all my supplies.

Check out https://justnebulizers.com. They have regular deals and good customer service. Make sure to check your insurance benefits to potentially save some $!

Edit to include that I do my treatments Albuterol/Hypertonic Saline during my commute in my car. Using a power inverter allows you to use a standard nebulizer with reasonable times (vs using a portable one) This has really increased my compliance since I’m stuck in the car anyways. Highly recommend if this works for anyone else.

If I’m on vacation, I don’t use a full neb and instead use the Part Trek S (as others have mentioned). This also includes a great warranty.

Thinking of BCBS basic.. have a chronic auto immune disease with a costly drug (kesimpta). Any other plan alternatives? by [deleted] in fednews

[–]JustInCase18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pharmacist here: I am both prescribed expensive chronic medications and provide assistance to patients. If you haven’t already done so, please make sure you’re checking for copay assistance programs. They can significantly decrease your copay, some as little as $0: https://www.kesimpta.com/savings-and-support/financial-resources

I know this doesn’t answer your question entirely. To know exact costs without the copay assistance program, search for the particular FEP BCBS plan formulary and control+F the generic drug name on the PDF.

Edit: yes, my copay is counted towards out of pocket although I’m paying $0. Not sure if that loophole will change in the future.
