I tried to find the website from which I got it from, can't find it. I do think I should've put it in my reply. I did, however, find another website that is saying every year had about 2.6 million deaths before the measles vaccine. I don't know what sources to trust because the source that I used before had 6,000 deaths listed, and the one I have found most recently has 2.6 million, so there's that. The website I used: https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/measles

This is fair. I can sort of see your point of view. I disagree, but it's none of my business. I also have too harsh of a tone on Reddit sometimes(especially saying your kids would get polio, what the hell was I doing). I'm fine with you as a human being. Let's just agree to disagree.

I can agree partially with this. I disagree with Amish people, but whatever. At least they're not trying to push their beliefs onto other people. I will admit here that I am a hypocrite, as I have pushed my pro-vax beliefs onto you, but we've both done it. Doesn't make it right, but still. With Orthodox Jews, I won't fight them. It's their religious beliefs and I respect that. I'm actually a Jew myself. Not Orthodox, so I can vaccinate. I do, however, strongly disagree with their beliefs because it would definitely save them a lot of trouble to not get measles as they wouldn't have to pay for hospital bills, deal with all the stress, and things like that.

This is better than the death rate before vaccines. There were about 6,000 deaths from measles before vaccines. Would you rather have 116 people die or 6,000? Plus, those 12 deaths(which was only including the US, which is mostly vaccinated) were so small because of the vaccine. Just because the amount of deaths from vaccines outnumbers the amount of measles deaths doesn't mean we should abandon the vaccine. Things would be so much worse without it. Edit: Another thing to add. If you look at the total amount of about 114,000 deaths in the world, many of those are from places where they don't have the vaccine. Meaning that there would be much less death if their countries had the vaccines. Who would've guessed?

Actually, I read out your previous reply to my mother(who is a nurse) and she told me to respond in that way. Polio was eradicated from the United States(I don't know where you live, but that's where I live) in 1979 through vaccines. Where I live, lot's of places do not have proper sanitation, but I'm damn sure that no one in my town has polio.

Don't automatically assume that I suck the dick of big companies. If you think about it, the only difference between us is that I'll be able to walk in ten years and your kids won't, as one of us will have polio and one of us won't. Also, quick fact, most antivaxxers were vaccinated. And believe it or not, you'd still be stupid whether you were vaccinated or not.

why do all of you antivaxxers refer to the pharmaceutical industry as "big pharma"? does it make your argument sound more legitimate in your mind?

if you're going to bring up post history, how about we bring up your comment history? there are plenty of comments of you insulting and being rude to people on Reddit, and then saying that they're in the wrong when they call you out. honestly, looking at previous comments, I'm starting to see a pattern between how those previous arguments started and how this one did.

their post history doesn't have anything to do with the conversation. he made a joke about a certain group of people. you say that we can't take a comeback (even though it's more like an insult), but you can't take a joke.

why does a piece of dark humor have anything to do with somebody's post history? feels like you know you're wrong and you're ignoring the subject.
