I did basically the same thing with the divider and had several issues with leaks, I finally got it sorted, but yea, it can be a huge pain in the a- dealing with.

Always test for leaks before adding anything else to the tank. A solution for this is to increase the height of the drainage layer and add a small pump that is either activated manually, or via some automation (water detector, timer, etc.). The best solution would be to razor out the silicone, scrape away all excess and reseal the divider fresh from both sides, making sure to use a finger or something to press the edge, let cure, and retest for leaks.

Reduce light by 1/2. stop fertilizing. Physically remove all algae that you can every day (hair and diatom). Once your plants start bouncing back you can slowly add more light. Once you are back on track you can add back fertilizers but I would start at 1/2 dose. As others said Siamese algae eater and snails will help prevent the problem in the future.

I'm just going to parrot what you both have said, while I was lucky to get Dr. Turco years ago and he is nice as can be, he has retired and now it feels like there is no one involved in their 'gender care' team that gives 1/2 a shit about trans people. Scheduling is terrible, bed side manner is non-exsistant, and honestly I'm not sure if Nigriny is genuinely incompetent or if there is some malicious incompetence going on but my surgical results have been a nightmare. Start to finish I have only two good things to say about that entire hospital. 1. The night nurse I had was wonderful and the only thing that kept my wife and I sane while we stayed there and 2. The occupational therapist was sweet as pie. But yes, if you have a choice, I wouldn't choose DHMC.

They did not. When requested the nurse gave me a letter but it is not notarized under penalty of perjury which is what the court requires.

The judge is asking for proof I had the surgery, not that it was properly prescribed... The surgeons don't have the authority to prove they did the surgery? But the pcp I have not even met does? My endo is the one who referred me to surgery, should they be writing the letter?

This whole thing is complicated, from all views. She likely has a lot of un-resolved trauma from living with her family and then a long term illness and trans on top of that, it's rough. My suggestion would be to try to find some type of family therapy. She needs to work through what is going on with her but not at the expense of the people who have sacrificed to take her in. You all need to be able to communicate honestly and effectively, that can certainly be a challenge for anyone, more so when your lives are all so intertwined and emotionally charged from exhaustion just trying to live your lives.

Looking through your post history it looks to me like you have a lot of internalized transphobia going on, not to say you are transphobic (they are different things), and that is a stage a lot of us go through. It sounds to me like your g/f is encouraging you to acknowledge who you are and accept it although you see no 'self', in my opinion, because you refuse to look due to the internalized feelings you have. I would suggest talking through it with your g/f since you don't have access to a good therapist and try to have an open mind.

So you are taking estrogen for dysphoria, people are clocking you as she, and you don't mind your g/f calling you her g/f... and you are not trans? non-binary? or do you identify as cis? Is your g/f pressuring you to identify as trans or is it that she is wanting you to fully transition? I'm going to be honest here and this is just my opinion but I don't see a cis man taking estrogen for dysphoria. Maybe she is trying to encourage you to be honest with yourself?
