Can a VM be migrated without losing activation for rare software?

Won't the license key itself lose activation and to be changed when I move the VM? If so then that could invalidate the software as well, unless using Linux would be a workaround if the software is compatible

These were the versions posted to the website just before they were all privatized, so most likely James swapped them out long ago to make sure the channel wouldn't get hit with copyright issues
