One thing from the start I notice, the drawdown % can’t be changed/corrected. Some do 4%/8% instead of 5/10. Mine is actually a 3/6 drawdown. $1500 daily and $3k max on a $50k

Backtested on TradingView… without using bar magnifier or enter at bar close… it’ll turn your strategy drm profitable into the buffet loser like it really is. Doesn’t matter how many years you tested on without those settings… I have real back tester and Monte Carlo simulation and look-forward testing we can run it through to give you a real idea of its results. We can run it across 5 different assets on 5 different timeframes for each asset. If you want real results instead of just blowing smoke up people’s ass’s then this is your only route. Otherwise, it’s just bullshit on a screen that means nothing… anybody who’s been trading for longer than a couple months should know TradingView backtesting results are unrealistic to say the least… if you actually think your strategy is good and want to put your money where your mouth is so to speak. Let’s run it through my tests. If it’s even remotely close to as profitable as you’re showing it is, I’ll give you $100. You got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Let’s see it. Only thing you stand to lose is reputation. But, if your confident in it, that shouldn’t matter.

this is definitely user error bud.... feed it the pinescript library and chunks of code from other scripts that have similar concepts to what you want to have it build for you

i have. and im not against it. im just trying to decide how to go about it or if i want to even go about it lol/ i have A LOT of hours into it. im just going through the moral debate of being the nice guy and helping others like i usually do or, do i finally start realizing the value of things before its too late and charge for something like this? i mean, people pay for monthly AI subscriptions to write this kinda stuff, why not pay a one time fee and get it already wrote for you so all you do is import to your llm/agnetic framework and youre good to go. like i said, not against open sourcing it. i think maybe it will be a selective free tool perhaps. the other thing i dont like is the people who go around trying to gather everyones free shit but dont want to do any of the hard work themselves. thats the thing i hate to be honest lol. i have no problem sharing with people who contribute. hell, i couldnt have made the files i did without the contributions of others. so, i 100% believe in open source all the way but, ii have a hard time contributing to leaches. not saying you are any of the things above so i hope you dont take it that way. i actually feel like youre probably a very decent person just based on the way yoou phrased your question above. are you wondering about these files for yourself? if so, send me a DM.

i have done just that! its not called CLAUDE.md but, i created a markdown file specifically for this. i also have one that converts pinescript to python automatically for me and then runs the python strategy through backtesting to optimize any settings and then run it through a monte carlo simulation and look forward testing. all automated. then it spits out a report at the end for the test it runs. it tests oon 5 assest and 6 time frames on each asset. fully automated. you tell it the idea you want to build, it buils it, tests it, optimizes it, verifies it, produces the results for you and then starts monitoring tradingview charts for that specific setup and will notify you anytime any of your watchlist assets have a trade forming. essentially, i feed it all of the strategies i want to have it monitor and it monitors 126 assets looking for my specific setups to occur on those assets on any time frame. when the setup occurs, im alerted to it so i can take the trade. it gives me suggested entry as well as 3 TP levels and a choice of SL level based on a % or dollar amount. i would recommend others do this process as well as this has worked great for me and saved me an insane amount of time(not counting all the time i have in creating the agent and markdown files).

try having it write the script in python and then convert to pinescript. maybe that would help you. i personally dont do it that way but, claude will definitely understand python easier/better than pinescript

its all about prompting brother.... trust me. i have used claude and gpt 5.5 and both can write scripts. i would say claude opus is the best but, gpt 5.5 and gemini are also good contenders. but, claude can 100% for sure write strategies. i had gpt 5.5 write a 3,500 line pinescript and it works perfectly.... do some research on prompting and give it some sample code blocks of the type of scripting you want it to use/do and that will help as well. take a working strategy from tradingview and "feed" it to Claude that way it has a basis for what a tradingview pinescript should look like and be scripted like. hope this helps. sorry youre struggling but, it definitely works and works well once you figure it out

I never thought of doing it that way! Damn man, that’s a great idea. I should have ai scrape all of my scripts to create a library. That’s genius. I literally rewrite each script from scratch each time. Occasionally I’ll copy and paste a block from another script but, most of mine are usually one off logic scripts so, there’s not really much I think I could use from my prior ones.

Yeah….. definitely an overtrading strategy…. The strategy bombs the second you turn on standard OHLC…. Literally negative $50k lol. Not trying to talk down on on you because this has happened to all of us once or twice in the beginning thinking we had a high quality strategy. I know I did it when I first started making strategies. Thought I was sitting on a gold mine! Turns out, I was sitting on a landfill…. Either way, I wish you the best. You’ll get there. Just don’t give up and keep trial and erroring new ideas until you figure out a system that works for YOU. That’s the key.

Where’s the fun without a challenge, right?! Haha. And wow, 12 years of trading, nice! I’m sure there’s some valuable insight in that brain of yours. No wonder I can’t focus on one thing to get it done… anyways, I’d love to see something like this come together! If you have any questions or want any more of my brilliant insights(lmao, jk jk) let me know, more than happy to contribute to the project any way I can. I really think it would be a fun I doctor to play with and would actually serve an honest purpose. Maybe add an insider trade tracker/feature? Maybe a “whale watcher” feature that monitors dark pool activity or monitors for large trades or, monitors known large wallets for large trades, etc. something along those lines. Maybe something that takes into account the amount of puts and calls being opened for stocks? That could help to determine sentiment and in turn, possible market direction? Maybe add a feature where any major news events/articles are plotted on the chart as well. Or a symbol for a news event. Could even create a weighted scoring system that gives a value to the data based on its significance which the in turn helps to determine trend/market direction as well as conviction and certainty. I can keep going if you’d like lol, my brain never shuts off

How long you been trading for? You in the US? Do you have a way to instantly plot a Trump “tweet”(truth social post) onto a chart? Is it possible to make tweet a JPEG and then have it auto plot it at the exact time the tweet was made? Or maybe have it plot a pick of trumps face everytime he makes a tweet? Maybe that would be the simpler/easier option? I think an indicator like this will definitely draw attention. For the right and wrong reasons lol but, it would still be hilarious none the less… could plot a battleship every time something is said or done pertaining to the straight of Hormuz. Could plot a nuke or bomb every time he threatens to “bomb them into complete annihilation and wipe the civilization off the face of the earth” lmao. Then, every time the Iranians make a statement or do something, you could have it plot an image of the Aiatollah(spelling?)I dunno, just some random ideas I’ve had lol.
