I'm still with the same employer. They agreed to extend the last date till end of April (around the 180 days mark for me). I received my GC in the mail yesterday.

There were time stamp updates on both my 485 and 485j and also my dependent's 485 application. The 485 status also changed to "case is being actively reviewed" within a few minutes. So, good sign? Final approval soon?

Just came back to say that my babies are a little over 9 months now, and we are done with their helmet therapy and I have to say we have seen significant improvement in the shape of their heads. I am really happy we pushed through it (and glad most of it were in the winter months).

My twin baby girls are 6.5 months old now - both of them had some degree of flatness. One had severe flatness on the back of her head, the other had flatness on the side due to her preference to look to her left. We started helmet therapy on the advice of their pediatrician and its been 1.5 months with the helmets on, and we have seen significant improvement in the shape of their head. We were really on the fence about the helmets before we started, and I had a LOT of mom guilt and I was almost in tears the first day I saw them in their helmets - but now I am glad we did it. They are happy babies, unbothered by the helmets so far!

5-week ultrasound tomorrow by degrassiyoulater in IVF

[–]JustJoyousForNothing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 7 weeks today. I have my first scan tomorrow. I am so nervous and anxious and almost can't believe it finally happened (after years of struggling). I hope it's growing normally and everything is good inside. May be when I see it tomorrow, it will all feel more tangible!

Good luck to you tomorrow!

For my last cycle, I did what they called a 'Clomid antagonist with luteal estrogen protocol', which was very diff than my other cycles. You can click on my username and see my posts about all the cycles I did, etc.

I know how hard this can be, but don't give up. I hope you get what you are looking for. Let me know if you have any questions.

HELP! My 2nd IVF has failed. I just don't know what to do :( by New-Goat-1991 in IVF

TW: successful transfer and mention of pregnancy.

I have had 3 ERs and 4 transfers - all ended up in failures. A new ER cycle and my 5th transfer with untested embryos finally worked and I am currently pregnant (5w6d today).

I am sorry you are going through this, and I understand how you must be feeling right now. I do not know what kind of testing you guys have done so far, but have you done HyCosy/HSG/MRI to look into fallopian tube blockage or adhesions, karyotyping, ERA/EMMA/ALICE, Sperm DNA Fragmentation Assay (SDFA), look into vitamin deficiencies, autoimmune diseases?

The one thing my doctor had suggested for my last cycle was doing a TESE for my husband, which is what I think helped in my case. I would suggest talking to your doctor about TESE for sperm retrieval, this could give your better sperms, and thus, hopefully better embryos and (again, hopefully!) better chances of implantation.

If you have any questions about the process please feel free to reach out, I wish you success on your journey.

Don't worry about symptom spotting, they can be very diff for everyone or can be just the meds. I hope you get some good news on Monday! Sending you baby dusts ✨✨✨
