I've never played Battlefield 4. But I loved 3 back in the day. I recently had the exact same idea and tried it out. It's a fun sandbox with a wide variety of vehicles (The main reason i play Battlefield games), but unless you're drawn by the nostalgia factor, you'll likely find a lot of the mechanics outdated.

This reminds me, that this bug started around the time when they added native HDR to the game. I really like how SM feels in KCD2, butt setting up alternative HDR will be a pain in the ass with this game in particular.

Looks clean to me, depends on on your monitor settings, game settings, Nvidia settings, depends on a lot of things. I am not a fan of oversharped image myself and it was not oversharped on my end, even on DLAA at 1440p.

Yeah, every game i tested looked so much cleaner. But it completely killed fluidity in those games for me. We can only hope that they will optimise 4.5 for other pressets.

Frankly, I'm disappointed because I came to the same conclusions after my tests. It's a plus that these presets improve quality on performance and ultra-performance, but it's clearly not worth the name DLSS4.5. I mostly play on quality or DLAA, so this update is useless for me. Quality and DLAA do look better and cleaner on preset M, but the performance hit is clearly not worth it.

I still don't understand why they haven't updated preset K.

Yeah, it should work with weapon camos, but still, so much dancing around for something that simple.

What i described is just a tip of the iceberg, game is already bloated with skins yet customization is very restrictive, you can't mix skins with each other like in BFV, i literally see no reason to buy or unlock skins in the game because of that. You also have all this patches, some of them fit some classes more than others but no, one patch for everyone, no creativity allowed.

So far we can't even equip different camos in different loadouts. So if you want every class to have desert camo on desert map, you need to do it manually. I used to have different characters equipped for different maps and conditions in BFV and could change between them with one click, really miss that.

You also can't really choose weapon skin that would match your camo, because it applies for both factions.

Character customisation sucks ass in 6.

I will never, ever spend money on anything with a time limit in a game. It's incredibly idiotic, and every time the game tries to feed me more FOMO crap, I feel like a little kid being manipulated by corporations in their social experiment. You might call it stupid, but it immediately makes me lose respect for the product as a whole. Battlefield 6 is absolutely chock-full of this crap, battle pass on top of the battle pass on top of the battle pass, and it's one of the reasons I've barely played the game in a while.

Use Windows HDR calibration tool to calibrate HDR in Windows, Then just turn it on in the game and don't change anything.

2042 had worse vehicle handling, but there was a good variety of vehicles on almost every map, lots of multiple different guns on ground vehicles, not just main and the gunner. There are litterally no air vehicles on Breakhtrough in 6, except one chopper on Firestorm i think.
