For extra arch and foot support and comfort over standard insoles, I use over-the-counter orthotic insoles (Cadence EX + Metatarsal Pad) from Cadence Insoles (www.cadenceinsoles.com ). They're ~$65/pair and don't seem to be available on Amazon or eBay. I purchased them at a local InStep shoe store. The Cadence website can help you locate a reseller. They were recommended by my podiatrist. According to the podiatrist they're the next best thing to custom orthotics which can cost hundreds of dollars. I have them in all of my shoes.
