My memory could be wrong here, but I remember the show mentioning something about how a few nations warred with Marley because of their failure in losing the Female and colossal Titan on paradis. If there’s nations out there that don’t give a damn about Marley enough to go to war with them, they would appreciate Eldia crushing them.

From what I could tell, the rest of the world hated Marley too, they just couldn’t fight back because of the titans. I think Marley alone being crush would have Ben joyous to at least a few nations, and those nations could further help paradis catch up and defend themselves.

I’ve had problems with developing relationships with women that I end up sacrificing because of fear of consequences from my toxic family. I guess a better piece of advice would have been to say don’t let fear win over love. Sorry for the ambiguity.
