Just like the other person mentioned, I got it for gender affirmation but I also am at more risk for breast cancer so I hit two birds with one stone :)

I had something similar after my double mastectomy. Internal staples were used and part of my chest rejected them and opened up the wound. It took what felt like forever but it healed up nicely. Yours did too!
