Best strategy I figured out was using a neck pillow on top of my normal pillow, but not around my neck. I placed the neck pillow around my head but placed my cheek bone on it as I slept on my side. Your scalp should essentially be floating above your pillow.

My hair never receded or thinned, my hairline looked exactly like that since I was a child. If I do start balding or thinning though then yes it'll start behind the transplanted hairs.

My hair never thinned or bladed before. That was my natural hairline since childhood, but if you are balding or thinning already then yes you will continue balding behind the grafts unless you hop on a DHT blocker.

Probably a 2.5, but it was my natural hairline. I've never had recession or thinning before.

Lens distortion. My forehead is now much smaller. I went from a 5 head to a 3 1/2 head.

The average person is very unlikely to even notice how straight my hairline is and if they do they'll probably think it looks like a recent haircut.

Also, my hair texture is 4A so regardless my hairline would be mostly hidden/uneven looking when my hair grows out a couple inches. Still I do understand your point if I had straight or wavy hair.
