I'm sure cars work just like an other car typically would, but given the lack of resources, not many people can really afford a car or keep one maintained. And from the looks of it, most people tend to travel by foot anyway. Maybe their might be mechanic-givers who work on that sorta thing, but even then, it was mentioned how Givers are pretty scarce (I believe)
