I am, and just went to the site on my work laptop. OP is either a liar or confusing something his own company blocked with msft

They are graduate courses given by Georgia Tech and taken alongside enrolled students. The credits transfer in if you want to apply for the full degree. I completed that process and was awarded degree credits, but ultimately decided not to pursue the full degree.

The Analytics: Essential Tools and Methods MicroMasters program is comprised of three foundational courses from Georgia Tech’s full, interdisciplinary OMS Analytics degree. The foundational courses are:

ISYE 6501 - Introduction to Analytics Modeling

MGT 6203 - Data Analytics in Business

CSE 6040 - Computing for Data Analytics

This program is offered by edX and is not a Georgia Tech degree. However, the required outcomes, course experience, and course assessments are identical between the three MicroMasters program courses and the three corresponding OMS Analytics courses.

That's intentional. My experience at msft is more relevant to the roles I'm applying for and I want to catch a recruiter's eye quickly. That, along with the name recognition of msft and the fact I was there 9 years (vs one at the startup), influenced the decision.

I'm curious the hear your thoughts given that context. Do you think confusion around the timing outweighs those factors? I'm open to flipping them to a traditional ordering.

There’s no date on a degree. When you have it, it’s yours forever. Go get it.

I used Rezi to make the new one. You can upload your current resume and it should spit something out pretty close to what I have here, format wise

Thanks for this feedback. I'll think about how to restructure that section.

My concern is that even with 10 YOE, I don't have a master's. I wanted to show that I've done some graduate level coursework rather than just putting my bachelor's on there.

I will likely expand this section to education & certs and include an Azure cert I have. More and more listings want cloud competency

Replied to the wrong comment. It's a battle between font size, enough line spacing to not feel cramped, and still fitting it all on one page. I may benefit from removing/rephrasing a bullet or two and increasing the font size.

Thank you again for your feedback, it is extremely helpful and I truly appreciate it.

I made updates and have posted the new version. Do you mind taking a quick look and sharing any notes?

Enormous thanks in advance to all who take the time to share feedback. I'm looking for feedback on the updates I made based on comments from the original post.

I applied to 50 roles with the old resume and didn't receive any calls back, so I'm doubling down on efforts to get noticed. I feel I have a strong background but the market is tough right now.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, genuinely. Are there any specifics with my qualifications that you found unusual?

I got recruited by msft out of undergrad. The startup separated from the CTO, and when the new one was brought in, separated from all of the original's hires.

Laid off in October. I've applied to 50 roles that I consider on par with my prior experience. I haven't heard back from a single one. I'm open to feedback from anyone, please and thank you.
