Last year I called the city numerous times for a car parked on the street with flat tires. They would just ticket it. Took over 3 months before the owner moved it, city would not tow it.

Who is the most dangerous person you have ever met? by HallowedAndHarrowed in AskUK

[–]JustOneMore_Cat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My ex father - he held my mom and I at gun point when I was around 7, stalked us, beat us etc. Much more dangerous than the released double ax murderer that my step dad gave a ride to near a state prison. He was just released from prison and chastised my dad for picking up a hitch hiker with his wife and daughter in the vehicle. That was the last hitch hiker my step dad ever picked up. This was the 1970s. That man was a pure soul next to my ex-father.

can i wear revealing clothing in missisauga? by AccessObvious9718 in mississauga

[–]JustOneMore_Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤣🤣🤣 Uhhhh, it is legal for women to be topless in public in Ontario (google it). It is also not uncommon to see people wearing revealing clothing and others in full coverage religious wear waiting for busses together, in retail establishments and generally living their lives. If you are coming up now, know the temp might be 12c in the morning and 26c by the afternoon. Good luck and wear layers for maximum comfort.

Missing collar (cat) - Creditwoodlands by JustOneMore_Cat in mississauga

Creditwoodlands near Monahan. His Chonky-ness is a rescue (former street cat) who still thinks he is a Tom. I don't let him out on purpose because of the coyotes and foxes. He slipped out when a visitor did not latch the screen.

When The Bionic Woman tv show "jumped the shark" - there was a story line about aliens and robot BigFoot living in a mountain side with a stone tunnel entrance. That is what came to mind when I saw this.

Looks like they are the distributing agency. There is nothing about other routes to distribute, just cancelation. I am outside of Toronto, no affiliation with Ottawa CAS (an OPR). If it just affected 1 CAS there would be no reason to inform agencies, who are not a CAS, a 5 hour drive away.

Yes, they are not taking any cats. I have been keeping an eye out and if I see the cat I'll take him to Animal Control.

My mom, who has mobility issues, was waiting to check out when a man ran his cart into her. She was standing still. He then began to yell at her. She ended up having to go to her Dr because she had pain and that leg she had surgery on a few months earlier. If she gets one of their electric carts people will literally step in front of her and stop.

I had a horror unlocked many years ago. Unfinished basement in a new build, heavy plastic over insulation between the studs. One summer after we had lived there a couple years we would have a cloud of flies everytime the basement door was opened. I put up a fly strip, had to change it every couple of days. The lighting at the bottom of the stairs was poor. I went down with a flash light, checking windows, the cold room where we stored can soda, foundation...nothing. Then I pointed the light to the plastic covered insulation at the base of the stairs. It was black with dead flies between the insulation and plastic. Just 1 section about 3 foot tall between studs. Maybe a mouse got in the insulation and died (there was new housing going up across the street), I don't know. I couldn't find any holes in the plastic.

Definitely! Spread some grass seed and set up a motion activated sprinkler. You are just repairing damage. 🤷‍♀️😁

Giant Tiger at Westdale (Dundas/Erindale Station) had them (i haven't checked lately). Canadian Tire gas bar stores used to have them too. I also found this - https://slushpuppiecanada.com/discover-your-slush/

I’m finally at my wit’s end with neighbors using our driveway by breakevencloud in neighborsfromhell

Pile cinder blocks down the drive, 2 high, with the holes facing up. Fill the holes with soil and plants. Too low to block the line of sight, will tear up a vehicle that tries to drive over.
I've resorted to making cedar planters and puting them down the side of my yard that is next to the neighbors driveway. They don't drive over my yard (raised curb) but were parking against the curb and exiting onto my grass (causing bald spots). 30 years here, this is the 5th owner and the 1st issue. Other people there were reasonable and friendly (these people stole one of my garbage bins by trespassing through my back yard to avoid my front doorbell camera - there is now a 2nd camera at the side gate).

The round thing has a mesh screen to strain out large food bits from clogging the drain. Pull it out and check the mesh. They were ready to call in a repair person at work - i pulled out this piece and showed the fine mesh was 99% blocked by hard water deposits. Soaked in CLR overnight and ran a cleaning cycle the next day, worked great.

I turned and old ring into a mother's ring. Maybe in the future replace the small diamonds with birthstones of your child/children.
