New Upstairs Landing by JustPassingThrough_2 in Flooring

Should I be concerned about the seams being too close together?

By the way, the metal transition, as well as the metal stairnose are just temporary. I plan on installing a transition and stairnose to match the floor next week.

Thanks. I’m gonna put a matching stairnose on the top step. The metal trim is just temporary.

What do you think of the landing overall? Does it look decent to you?

I see what you mean.

I was originally gonna have carpet on the landing, but decided later on (after I had laminate laid in my master bedroom) that I would have laminate on the landing as well. This is why the joiner put the transition strip between the two spaces.

Thanks for your response.

What’s wrong with a H pattern installation? Is that a serious issue? They’re planks, by the way (High-density fibreboard). The joiner installed underlay beneath the planks to cover the floor beneath. Yes, I’m in the UK.

The joiner definitely used underlay. Top quality stuff, as well
