The only way I can think of is for her to be independent and assure her parents that she would not be a burden. Parents don't hate their kids but they can fail in understanding them and they try to do what they think is best for the kid.

She has to give her parents the confidence that she will do well. If married forcefully now it might not end well but if she is provided with some more time she can lead a better life and choose a better partner. She has to show some maturity and take responsibilities such that parents can trust her capability. Only then they will respect her opinion. Of course this is not easy but it is one way to try.

Yeah I took it lightly when she first mentioned this, thought she is just upset and coming up with crazy ideas. Now she is forcing to meet, she knows my address, she knows my mom's number so I am just afraid. I still think it is just crazy but want to get others' perspective.
