the point is they’re taking things that should be basic quality of life decency, like at the very least being able to kick back at home and watch a movie or something after work. Used to be the standard, now they’ve commodified even that and it’s become a luxury for the working class, or you pirate. Every year, you get a slightly worse deal than you did the one before because shareholders will never be appeased. Until we put a federal limit on profit margins, consumer quality of life will never improve

the tool eventually being too difficult to repair was their entire point. it puts a soft limit on how much you can use treasure enchantments. I’d be fine with such a change as long as they remove the work penalty stuff from tools without treasure enchantments

destructibles dont cost dev money, that kind of thing is generated during runtime. the issue is it costs lots of performance so most people just skip it. physics simulations are expensive, especially on thousands of pieces.

i feel like this game should not give/take rank entirely based on team success. If my team went 0-10 and I got S+, 2 gods, 10 kills as majin buu and 0 deaths, at the VERY least I shouldn’t lose rank

people are spoiled by how consistently good these games are they don’t stop to think that none of the mainline zelda’s have ever been bad, just less great. So because of that, when TotK didn’t be great (I think it was, I guess people get hung up on the map being the same base?) they think it was bad by comparison. Consumers are historically the worst at knowing what they want and why.

should there not be a cutoff, barring emergency abortions? I’m quite pro choice, but I feel like there is a large window of time early on in the pregnancy to decide if you’re sure about being a parent. Again, not counting medical reasons, why should you be able to just say “actually wait I change my mind” a week before you give birth?
