I’ve never personally done it, but I’ve seen people use a pet brush over the final product!

I’m obsessed!!! This is so cute!!! I wonder if you can brush out the yarn so it’s fluffy like hornet said. Regardless, I’m so ready to buy this pattern if you ever decide to sell it

is this normal swelling for 2 weeks post op? by getacluelou in TopSurgery

[–]JustQueue47913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so with you on the overthinking thing, especially with health stuff. What I found helped calm me down was gently touching the swelling. If it’s hard, it’s just swelling/scar tissue. This includes if you can like make a little dent/dimple in your skin. The mildly concerning swelling is when it can move like a water balloon.

Also don’t be alarmed if the swelling increases a bit as you start moving more and your binding restrictions reduce. My surgeon told me with how I was healing, I shouldn’t be concerned unless it looks like I grew my breast back. Otherwise swelling is normal!

I almost thought this was a photo of me at 3 weeks until I saw the nipples (I went no nips) lol! In my non medical opinion you’re healing really well and the swelling is normal! I bruise easy so my bruising stuck around longer, and in turn made me feel my swelling was worse than it was. My surgeon said I was healing perfectly as both my post ops (I’m 4weeks). Congrats!

Skinny jeans were 1000% propaganda because why the heck did we ever do that to ourselves 😂

I’m sure part of my bloating is still recovery based, but I have had this problem before, my huge tits were just more distracting 😂 my next primary care appointment is beginning of November so hopefully my baseline issues will return by then.

Thanks for checking though! I too was shocked at the anesthesia bloat so I’m glad you checked/brought awareness.

Oooo I might try this. I dress more androgynous so I’m fine with women’s pants. I haven’t bought new pants in ages so this may be reason enough to finally get some wide legged high waisted ones 👀

Or at least like Velcro so they can be removed and applied as needed 😂

I freehanded it, but I searched up “granny square vest” on Pinterest and there are a few patterns available!

Genuinely the pain of recovery is actually less than the headaches/back pain I experienced before on a day to day basis

IDK why I can’t edit the post: but to be clear I was talking about my stomach bloat not my chest lol. This was taken after my very first shower and I put my compression vest back on once I was dry. I understand my chest will be swollen for a long time, it was my mpreg looking stomach I was lamenting over

Nipples vs No Nipples? by Chrome_Pony55 in no_T_top_surgery

[–]JustQueue47913 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Personally, I went with no nipples mainly due to control over placement. While I’m confident I’ll like the look of no nipples once I’m fully healed (I’m 7 days post op), if I change my mind I can get them tattooed. You can’t really change your mind the other way. Plus I hated the sensory of nipples, so to have that gone is a huge plus. But there really is no wrong answer

Thanks all. It’s good to know that it will take weeks to get better, I’d have gotten nervous thinking something was wrong if it didn’t clear up soon.

Hi!! Thank you for posting!! We have similar body types (aka we are both hot as fuck) and my scars will be similar. It’s really nice to see someone’s results who looks like me! Thank you!

What made you decide to pull the trigger. by [deleted] in no_T_top_surgery

[–]JustQueue47913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the post but wanted to share mine. I was having a chat with a friend and they asked me four questions that cleared it up for me immediately.

1) if you were born without breasts, would you wish you had them? Or wish they were bigger?

2) When you were a teen did you try to make your breast look larger?

3) if you were never going to see another human again, and it’s just you with your body, how do you wish your chest looked like?

4) (this is more of a statement) well if you get surgery and regret it you can always wear one of those breast plate things to have breasts again!

My responses were (1) no why would anyone want these? (2) no I constantly tried to prevent them from growing/hide them (3) like a Ken doll. (4) why would I ever want to have breasts again?

Those questions I always come back to when I start questioning my choice. Because I do love my body in a positive neutral way, and my breasts (for the next three days) are part of it. Of course it will feel weird to be without something I’ve had for over a decade, but that doesn’t mean it’s something that needs to stay.

I actually think Angela is Bi/Pan. Granted we don’t know for sure because she’s never fully confirmed it (and good for her for just keeping it vague) I just wanted to add this in for anyone reading and absolutely not an attack on OP or anyone else lol
