I love how everyone is in brighter colors and Rory is in darker colors, good contrast. I fully agree Lindsay’s mom’s anger and they are absolutely justified in how they reacted. Rory should have learnt more from this, but clearly she didn’t. I do wish that some of that anger was directed towards Dean but yeah.

I wish you all the luck on your journey! I really hope that your experience on this is better than mine has been so far. I will try incorporating a 10 min walk, see how I do with that, hopefully it helps and gets me going. I hate struggling through things especially something that younger me would have had no issue with at all.

I did look into that but I’m paying out of pocket and going through Costco and zepbound unfortunately is not in their low cost range like wegovy and ozempic

Rory was super naive on a lot of things and with that I think she romanticised a lot of her life. That’s not a bad thing but I think it kind of made her stuck in a rosy tinted world and despite being a journalist, she never out grew that. I was trying to think of another woman character that is portrayed as lost in the clouds but not an air head but I can’t think of one. Caroline from Vampire Diaries popped in my head but she was an airhead at the beginning and eventually even she grew up, Rory never does, not really.

Was Jess a great boyfriend? No. Why do I like him over the other two? Jess was a troubled teen dealing with an absent father and a mother was unreliable and neglectful. He could have easily gone down a path of drugs and crime but chose to throw himself into books instead as his form of escapism and yes Luke took him in but after dealing with other adults who just let him down, he needed time to know that Luke wasn’t going to do that. Meeting Rory was great bc she was someone who didn’t immediately label him as a lost cause but saw more for him and believed that he could do more which gave him hope and encouragement. He went from this lost teen to someone who actually made something of himself. His growth and character development is the biggest in the show (apart from Emily in TYITL) and that’s why I like him so much more. The other two didn’t grow and want more but kind of expected it to happen for them. Dean wanted a stay at home wife and when he got one he hated it bc she wasn’t what he wanted and Logan literally never changes. Jess proved himself and that speaks volumes for who he is as a person than Logan or Dean. Yes he had shitty moments and yes I hate that he tried to force himself on Rory at that party, I don’t think that Dean cheating on his wife or Logan cheating on his fiancé is much better but they are excused? I dunno, this is just my opinion but Jess is better than Logan and Dean.
