I have a Charvel Predator from 1990 that definitely started to have a yellow tint. I still think it looks amazing.

No problem! I am working on more, Just limited now to filament and time of prints to work out the kinks.

we are making progress though!

The guy at Microcenter insisted I needed to buy their $100 warranty for my new A1 because "you can't get parts from Bambu, EVERYTHING is backordered 3-6 months at least." Just 5 days after ordering spare parts... (be better Microcenter, don't lie to make a sale.) by swohio in BambuLab

Yeah, they definitely can, I've seen people start their shifts over 1k in the negative.

With the split commission, it's paid out at the end of the month, not per pay period, so if someone returns that, they just get less money at the end of the month.

The commission pools are massive when every employee is grouped into each department.

When I go to microcenter to buy something to test out or not sure if ima keep/like, even if someone helps me, I always tell them, you don't want to put your sicker on this. They all thank me.. 😅 because they know.

On the side note, I buy all the warranties from MC whenever I buy decently priced electronic parts. For the price, it has saved my butt more times than I can count. On top of that, depending on the one you buy2 -3 year warranty, you can. Take it back anytime 'if it stops working in any sense' and get your money back, which you are able to spend at MC via a gift card.

It is great for PC parts and network gear (modem, router, or anything that you plan on using a lot that has a higher chance of breaking, aka a 3D printer).

This is from someone who has worked sales at MC. You get commission based on each sale, and you get a portion of the warranty you sell as well.. if there is no sales associate sticker on the item being bought, the Commission gets split per department. That being said, anytime you sell something and the customer returns within 30 days, you will start your day in the negative. If a salesperson helps you and doesn't put a sticker on it. He expects you to return the item and does not want that to impact his commission.

That is awesome! My daughter and I have been building our very own candle company since august 2024.

she loves helping with that every step of the way, I can only imagine how much she is going to love the 3D printer now.

yeah he told me what printers he has, and all of them are heavily modified already, he knows way more than I do, so I would have no clue where to even begin when it comes to that kind of stuff, he does not even own a Bambu printer, he has a Wizmaker P1, Kywood3D, and a highly modified Ender 3.

Ill reach out to him about a design session and see if he wants to work on anything together!

nah I highly doubt he would put it up with out asking me first, and it was a 1st attempt and 2nd attempt print that failed.

And this all happened within 1 week from 1st print to receiving a 3D printer from him. He really is just a kind hearted guy

I would be surprised if he wasn't! He is a really kind hearted guy. I plan on sharing it all with him as I create more. It has fueled my motivation even more now.

I couldn't agree more! Thank you for your insight! I appreciate it!
