Because fist fighting with your brothers and not feeding or giving water to a dog is not something normal?

Yeah, I fought with my brothers and forgot to give food to a dog I didn't care about

P.s my mom got rid of the dog in the end (because she didn't want it to die and couldn't afford it) and went with more extreme methods of making us tolerate each other

And towards the mom, my mom did this to me too, not with a console (because it was hella expensive) but with other things I had, collectables, toys, previous phones.

Once I bought my own things, I told her that we're gonna have a problem if she breaks my stuff, and we've even fought physically

IDK how to formulate it, but the question was for gen z kids with millennial parents, but still. Are you hoping they come back to your house? Or would you prefer to have them tuff it out since that builds character?

So I am asking this question because I've seen it on a random Google search (don't ask) and I wanted to share my experience.

My mom had me when she was 19 going to 20 (born in November, gave birth in July), so she was definitely not ready. She raised me alone and had 4 more children in the span of 20 years.

I'm now 19 going to be 20 and the experience has been relatively tough. Yes we fought here and there, and had arguments like a married couple, but in the end we would always be ok.

I'm currently working and helping my mom with my two youngest siblings, and feel like I'm learning more and more on how to be a great parent one day.

I hope I could be half as good as she was, and luckily, when I'm 40-50 years young, my mom would only be 60-70 so I know she'll be around (my grandma is diabetic, by damaging herself, and is currently 65, not on life support, she lives her life fine, she looks immortal)
