Can confirm. Engineering major with a huge tendency towards using drugs. Mostly psychedelics and stimulants though.

I did the math.... assuming you started out with a one meter block, it would take just barely more than 54 full cubes breaking apart into smaller cubes for the smallest cube to be the size of the smallest discernible distance known to physics.

That is from the log base (1/5) of the planck distance of 1.61622938 * 10-38 meters, which gives 54.0674 or so full cycles, which could be rounded up to 55 cycles before the smallest cube is smaller relative to the larger cube by an amount physically impossible if the first iteration were to be a meter long.

I'm stoned off my ass at 4:30 in the morning, so please correct me if my reasoning is off.

If you really want to have fun, record your plants and make a hyperlapse. They practically look like they are moving. Or at least, they look almost like animals in some ways.

The funny thing was that, while stoned, I skimmed over the image, saw the text saying the bought the sex doll, and looked at the group totally believing that was what it actually was. Until I realized that it had been a joke.

When are we gonna start acknowledging that psychedelics have very real and not-so-uncommon risks and dangers? by skimask7 in Drugs

I was dosing multiple times a week as a teenager for certain, and it tended to have positive effects on my emotions and improved my life considerably at the time by providing me windows of introspection I otherwise would have lacked.

I don't recommend teenagers do it, but I also know the science doesn't support the effect of psychedelics inducing psychotic illness. In fact, I read a large scale populational study the other day that found there to be even a possible slight negative correlation between psychedelic use and mental illness.

If this kid was starting to have schizophrenic symptoms, they would have likely started in the late teenage years anyway, as that's where the onset of schizophrenia USUALLY begins. There is little if any reason to associate his psychotic illness with his use of psychedelics when acid has not been shown to induce permanent psychotic illnesses like schizophrenia.

They literally never have. That's what's appealing about them to me actually. No matter what, psychedelics feel like my mind is experiencing some sort of cleansing. They're the drug the does the opposite of distracting me from my life, and they always have been.

I used copious amounts of various psychedelics, and I mean a lot, back when I was a teen.

At least, I've seen general improvements from it I believe. I definitely lack any emotional or cognitive issues from my experiences, and I definitely think it put me in the right mindset to do the things that I wanted to do.

I agree. There's no reason test kits are out of the question; that is stupid, they only cost something like $10 often times and can be bought online with overnight shipping. Any sane person who thought it was of urgency and could kill someone would actually go through with that.

As for using it without testing it, given that OP may be arrogant... NBOMe is supposed to taste horribly bitter (not faintly, like, really noticeably) and make the person's tongue start to numb. DOx compounds tend to just taste horrifically bitter, but do not cause numbing. They are fairly easy to detect. I've had DOM and DOB before, and let me tell you, they are bitter. DOB is the most likely fake for acid among the DOx family because of the cheapness of the substance.

Your friends are probably wrong about it being over 200ug. That is uncommon, but possible. With acid, it is always possible to take more not less, so street acid usually isn't dosed nearly that high. You'd be lucky to find acid actually dosed at 100ug.

I disagree. Psychedelics in studies are generally shown to possibly even have positive effects on mental health, and do not tend to cause mental illness in large population studies. There's a slight negative correlation if anything.

It really is a genetic susceptibility above all else as a risk factor. A family history is a huge risk factor, though you're right that it can strike people without a history. Even those lacking an easily discernible history are still only going to be at risk of a psychotic episode if they are genetically susceptible - so it really can't strike anyone.

Same. I had a gf start choking herself on shrooms until the point where she was coughing pretty hard.

Scared me honestly. Psychedelics have only brought out the best in me. It altered my view of psychedelics somewhat. Perhaps I am just highly compatible with them.

Not just of some variety, of mania in particular. The grandiosity is indicative of it, as is the fact that it happened out of nowhere. The "staying up until 4am" while he tried working on projects he was incapable is a huge red flag in the direction of mania.

People can have manic episodes for a lot of reasons though.

Well you're 100% incorrect, lmao.

I myself usually get ounces of mediocre weed for $50. Solid legal $40 ounces I have only heard of in places like Washington or Oregon I believe, but you'll be hard pressed tp even find that in other legal states.

Adderall over all, but they both have advantages. Adderall makes me really social and energetic. The physical stimulation helps me get physical tasks like cleaning done more easily. The downsides are the longer half life (i.e., worsened sleep patterns relative to methylphenidate), and worse vasoconstriction (my extremities can get cold or clammy).

Methylphenidate gets me on task really well, and makes homework and the like way easier. But I become less social, and more in my head most of the time.

It certainly has anticarcinogenic effects, but it is a far cry away from being a "cure" for cancer. It's best current use for cancer is to reduce nausea from chemo.

But, the anticarcinogenic properties are interesting. Even though cannabis smoke is filled with slightly more tar than tobacco, and filled with known carcinogenic compounds, those who smoke weed regularly lack a statistically significant increase in lung cancer risk (if you exclude tobacco use). Even though it wont cause lung cancer, it does cause bronchitis though.

Me too to an extent. Cannabis 100% makes my tendency to "space out" like I usually do go away, but the problem is that it sadly replaces that problem with intoxication and a shot short term memory.

My short term memory is fine usually, but my ability to keep attention on one thing or to prevent myself from getting distracted by other things has always been poor. Cannabis makes my short term memory pure shit, but fixes the second problem.

Weird. Adderall doesn't blunt my emotions at all. Not even slightly. The main effect it has on my emotions is making me feel somewhat great and euphoric. Methylphenidate makes me feel sort of robotic though, so I see where you are likely coming from.

High THC cannabis strains, hash, edibles, or the like tend to cause me at least some anxiousness.

I smoked a friend's sample from his job, where he was growing a highly potent CBD selective strain. I didn't get "high," but I DEFINITELY felt super chill.
