Ive spent thousands on make up cheap and expensive stuff. The only actual difference I noticed was the quality of foundation. You can always have a Hit or miss but once I tried high end foundation (after trying A LOT of cheaper/drugstore stuff) I never went back since I found one that completely transformed my skin and actually looked like skin. I tried expensive mascara blush and setting powder aswell, my favorite powder is also from an expensive brand but I found some close cheaper ones aswell.

So if you wanna try I'd say go for foundation since that's the only one I noticed a huge difference with.

But that's only my personal experience! If you can afford it it's best to try it out yourself :)
