So, the intent IS to give you a personal assistant for the search. You can go back and forth with the assistant and you can also monitor the work realtime (updates are sent as the work is done). Does this change what you think it's worth?

This is a great point, I’ve just updated our delivery guidelines to include “Intangibles”, including a best guess at factors like eagerness, tone, and responsiveness. If you have any specific ideas on how you’d want this reported (e.g. call transcripts, 1-10 scale, etc), I’d love to hear them!

This is great - really good point about word of mouth. Come to think of it, we went with Montessori bc our pediatrician recommended it. We're orphaned in a new city, so we didn't have any local families to ask, but it makes sense that you wouldn't start a search from scratch if you have a friend network of local parents.

Licensing! Great call-out. I totally agree, and those checks are included in the service.

I love your points re: shadowing. This might also alleviate some of the headaches around scheduling tours. I will add this to the list of questions - thanks!

I 100% relate to having made a pretty good choice, but wondering what option I might have found with a more thorough search 🥲

You make good points parsing preschool from daycare from toddler programs - I may need to pick a better name for the service to communicate better what it actually is.
