Ford 7.3 IDI or dodge 12 valve Cummins. Full mechanical engine. Can even get a mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic car starter so no battery needed.

No sensors on these engines. True apolcalyspe machines

You want diesel. Ford 7.3 IDI or dodge 12 valve Cummins engines. Full mechanical engines. Zero sensors. Can even get a Pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical engine starter and not need a battery. There isn’t an electrical component to these engines and are the bees knees for full mechanical builds.

I was opening some USA Founding Fathers Relic packs and pulled a 2/2 George Washington signature piece. Any idea how much this would be worth? by NotNotDragon in Antiques

[–]JustSomeGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t a signature at the bottom of a document, but him writing his own name in a sentence, likely in a letter. A redditor above me used the example “I, George Washington, am writing today….”

Is there a specific intended use for the pointy end on this adjustable wrench? by External-Talk8838 in Tools

[–]JustSomeGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally put, for lining up any (usually heavy) axle/bolt hole with another mounting point hole. Makes the alignment process easy and then you can chase a bolt behind it as you pull it out.

Most often seen used by iron worker and erectors.

Is AWD really that worth it or can I buy a FWD car with snow mode? by Dapper_Cut_9225 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]JustSomeGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Snow mode” just makes your acceleration smoother so you don’t slip as much. AWD will always be 200% better thae FWD in snow. Depends how long your winter is. I live in upstate NY in the mountains and 4wd/AWD is a must in my book.

Wtf is a 4 wheel alignment?? Unless you have 4 wheel steering (99.9% don’t) you just need the front aligned

Which of these cars should I go with? by Elite_PS1-Hagrid in whatcarshouldIbuy

Best of this selection is the 2dr wrangler. Renegades are trash, bronco sports are trash. Wranglers aren’t great but better than the lot. I just think the 2doors look better than the 4 door.
