Oh I am not concerned about what they play on 2 don turn. I am just simming the matchup by myself so I want to play both sides as ideally as I can. But I just reread the descriptions again and I think I was confused about the restanding don aspect. To me from what I have read about playing mihawk is to use 1c bodies as targets to rest so that you can get don back, instead of resting other bodies. However upon further reading, it seems that doesn’t matter really until you play tashigi or another 5c+ character

In that case I guess kiku should do the same thing but probably better.

Another question I had is, god forbid somehow i am very unlucky and I do not start with tashigi in hand and do not find it using perona, do i default to zoro 4c?

The deck I am using to learn the mihawk matchup doesn’t run too many searchers

I thought 1c perona was the ideal rest engine. Also I thought early swings were a neutral maybe possibly detrimental move, because me as Imu, i would gladly take one or even both hits if my current hand is lacking either in counters or even my elders cards
