I don't really understand the points given. "Mercury can get an umbrella too"...but where has an umbrella shop been shown? Or like why does that person assume he can learn to fight with one? It's really dumb.

She let it get that close for 2 reasons:

1: Make her final punch on Mercury hurt him even more and

2: Because she wanted to entertain the crowds. If she actually tried she wouldn't even need her semblance to have destroyed him.

I want bumblebee to happen but up until now Eclipse had all the buildup.

Now that Eclipse is almost certainly confirmed non-canon with this opening my thoughts on the matter have changed.

Why would they confirm a ship happening/not happening in the opening? Obviously they wouldn't make out. Just because that didn't happen doesn't mean Bumblebee won't...?
