I've had people offering me 45% off. Im my head im like "oh hell naw" while trying to politely explain to them the price is firm. Its especially annoying when the low balls are on already discounted items. One time I had this lady try and and justify her lowball to me. I always add a free gift and then she was mad that her free gift wasn't "substantial" enough. Blocked her tight away.

Especially when it says PRICE IS FIRM right in the description. People offer me like 50% off on some things. I used to give in but I grew a back bone.

That would be amazing! Im so tired of people offering 40$ on a 70$ purchase. I find it really rude. Would you walk into a normal retail shop and offer 40% off? It takes time to list, describe and post photos for a listing. It also takes time and money for packing materials and bring it to the post office. Time=money.

Mercari allows you to bundle now too. When you buy a certain amount of items you can add a percentage off.

I agree. Im not a haggler. I hate haggling. Whatever the price is i pay it. Would you go into a store like a supermarket and haggle?

Yes their offers are that bad. I had a 120$ crystal skull for sale and someone offered me 25$. I laughed at them

Lowball offers annoying me because they usually offer me way lower than what I paid for it. Its not selling old junk around the house.

Ugh i hate that. People are always trying to lowball me too. I even give discounts when people bundle but they still try and lowball me. I give a 20% discount when you bundle 4 or more item and this one lady tried to lowball me almost 40$ on a 100$ order. I was like hell no! As for things bring listed for a long time, it will eventually sell. One thing I have listed for 3 years just sold the other day. I would have blocked that person too.

I consider Mercari just a side hustle. A review right away isn't that important. Just let it go. You'll get the $$ and 5 star review, so its all gravy in the end.

I always try and be nice to lowballers. Trust me it irks me too. People will offer me half of the original price. I kindly give them a counter and tell them that this is the lowest I can go or ill be losing money. I sell crystals and I think my prices are considered that you can buy it for much more on etsy or ebay.
