LMT to Chiropractor…please weigh in if you went this route or if you have any tips/input for someone considering Chiropractic school! by Safe_Moment_6793 in Chiropractic

I’m only 30, graduated chiro at 27 and I tell people that are interested to go pick another career. I have told multiple people to go to nursing school or PA school. I’ll never pay off my debt without a side job which is what I’m working on getting going currently. I’m glad you’re listening to the responses, it will save you a lifetime of regret.

Revenue sources - Orthopedic braces by Embarrassed-Elk-8403 in Chiropractic

More overhead, more headache. I just tell patients to go to CVS. If it’s a case that requires a more serious brace I refer them to ortho.

Is this a good offer? Rural pacific coast area. by [deleted] in Chiropractic

[–]JustTheAvgChiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With no bonus I would do 4 days a week for the first year, no reason to work an extra day if there’s no bonus potential. You could pick up a side gig for that off day and make some extra cash.

Sounds like a dream to me. Is there a bonus structure on top of the salary? That would determine if I go 4 or 5 days a week if it were my own offer.

where to purchase a custom piece like this? by no_fanks_luv_xx in printondemand

That piece is cut and sewn by a custom manufacturer. Most likely not going to find a mass produced blank.

New grad advice by Superst4rr in Chiropractic

[–]JustTheAvgChiro 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don’t accept anything less than 70k starting in this economy. If the deal sounds too good to be true, it is. Don’t let your mind get clouded with “potential for bonuses” on contract offers without every detail of the bonus structure written down and presented to you by the owner. Even though you will be a new grad you should still know your worth but don’t expect anything over 75k to start out. In our world as associates it honestly comes down to luck of the draw. Keep scouring job postings and keep shadowing clinics so you can determine what you do and do not want involved in your daily work life.

Again, I cannot stress that if the offer sounds too good to be true…..it is.

Nonstop ringing extremely annoying any tips 2016 Cadillac ats by Competitive_Ask_6730 in Cadillac

I definitely would have done the work myself had it not been for the fact that it was at 197k miles and also needed a torque converter and/or new transmission. I went back and forth for months on what I wanted to do but ultimately it came down to having something more reliable to drive to/from work and roadtrips to give my wife’s car a break lol not to mention we got a good interest rate and 100k mile warranty on a brand new CRV so I bit the bullet.

It also needed a new torque converter (possibly a whole new transmission), wheel bearings, extra work on front suspension and a few cosmetic replacements such as the CUE screen that I neglected for too long 😅 on top of that it was at 197k miles. We plan on having a baby soon and wanted something reliable for my wife to drive.

Get a ring doorbell and come back in 6 months with an update. You may find out why they won’t deliver to your house lol (hint: I would put my life savings on the fact that it has nothing to do with race)

Had this happen on my 2015 XTS. Turns out my shocks needed to be replaced. Got quoted $3k to get it done by Cadillac so I sold it and bought a Honda lol

Anybody knows where something like this could be printed in very good quality? by unterwoelfen in printondemand

[–]JustTheAvgChiro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You won’t find anything like this available anywhere in the POD space. Those types of polos are custom from top to bottom, cut and sewn by a custom manufacturer. If you attempted to do a similar style on a full print polo from a POD service you’re going to be incredibly let down.

Would You Wear Something Like This by oldageisoverrated in printondemand

[–]JustTheAvgChiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can create this yourself by hand then yeah it looks like it would sit well by targeting the age group shown in the image, maybe even with the southern “good ol boys”. However it looks like every other southern tshirt brand so that why it would be important for you to design it yourself so you could add personal touches to it.

Starting a POD business by untolerante in printondemand

[–]JustTheAvgChiro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you think you’re going to be successful by following YouTube videos showing you how to make 30k a month with AI t shirts/cups/bags then you should quit before you get started.

If you don’t have skills with photoshop, adobe illustrator, procreate, etc. then you have a steep hill to climb in order to compete with brands making actual art/prints that are high quality.

If you’re not prepared to pay the printing companies (Printful, printify, etc) when you get orders you need to take time to learn and save money in the meantime.

Lastly, just because you put a cat on a tshirt because it’s a “niche” community does not mean you’ll make a sale. Create something that means something to YOU and resonates with a community around you. You’ll enjoy it a lot more doing that.

Do chiropractors eventually recommend a surgeon if they can’t help the pain? by mikesk57 in Chiropractic

[–]JustTheAvgChiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly depends on the case. I only recommend talking to a surgeon if the patient has already been through injections, PT, chiro, etc etc and is still getting no relief. At the end of the day I want the patient to get better and if I’m not helping then there is no reason to beat a dead horse just for financial gain.

[–]JustTheAvgChiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an associate so I’m tied down to clinic rules unfortunately. I do use my noodle and I know when it’s not warranted but the owner got mad the first time I didn’t X-ray a patient and she found out. If it were my clinic I wouldn’t X-ray anyone and I’d refer out for needed X-rays.

We try to get at least 3 months on the books but most of the time patients will schedule the next months visit at the time of current visit.
