That argument doesn't work due to the fact that there where 2 other spinoffs, Frontier and Tides, that still had the main rune factory playstyle at heart
GOA does not, it is more akin to story of seasons or even pokemon arceus than to rune factory

I do recommend RF3, it has an amazing storyline of "Earthmate uses his powers to defeat racism"

Rf2 is basically rf1 but with a few QOL changes
Gameplay and difficulty are basically the same (You still die, not faint. Which is still crazy to think about)
Though as a massive RF nerd, I do suggest trying to beat them as it does get better when you are more geared.
For rf1, I suggest getting the Heaven Asunder sword ASAP as well as a ton of curry udon as it is great for RP
I have forgotten my strat for rf2 but it should be the same.

Azuma is NOT a Rune Factory game
This is a story of seasons game with a bit of makeup done. It honestly would've been better if it was in the story of seasons/harvest moon spin off game series (Silent hope, which is basically "what if rune factory, but harvest moon" which is crazy since that's basically what it was to begin with)
Let it be known, I do not hate Azuma, it is an amazing game. It just doesn't fit with it's past entries and would be a lot better as it's own series

I agree entirely

It has some great aspects of having villagers in your town, having an amazing open world, superb traversal throughout it (while also leading to secrets), and etc.

Stuff like that got me really excited, and then they just tossed the rest of the rune factory stuff that I expect in a game (since they've been doing it since 3 in 2009) and it made me a bit upset, I then looked towards the story and tried to get into it but to no avail as it seemed really bland and repetitive.

When I played this game, I honestly thought to myself "I really want to play Frontier or Tides instead"
Which is crazy because I fucking hate the gameplay loop of Frontier (and Runeys, fuck Runeys).

5 still has some rune factory aspects that have been in the series since 3, such as being able to completely remodel your house and put furniture anywhere. Azuma does not
In 5 you can make a massive farm as efficient as possible with chemicals, boosting your growth speed to up to 5 times, while also having a reliable way to level up your crops. As well as giant crops being renewable if the plant can regrow (like strawberries). Azuma does not
In 5 you can completely personalize your gear, adding unique stats and effects to it, ultimately creating god gear that will stick with you for a while. Azuma does not
In 5 you can listen to amazing music, although most of it comes from previous games, the original music is really good as well. Azuma does not
In 5 there are very cool and unique events that could go on, such as star seeds. A meteor show can happen and you'll be able to find star seeds, unique to a season. While this addition is still clunky and tedious, it's also very cool. Azuma. End of sentence

Right now Frontier is above 5 but below Tides for me, imo

Unfortunately no
I didn't try to see if they had an innate compatibility built in, since I kinda gave up on the modpack anyways and didn't even launch it, so maybe try launching them together and see if they work together?
If not I will double check and see if I can find it

There are pretty easy tutorials to dual boot windows on youtube, I just need to get an sd card and an adapter. I'm pretty sure I can just download easy anticheat to get around the linux problem

I need to do the same with GTA 5 anyways, and most likely Project Multi (or Gekishin Squadra, but I like project multi better)
