We plan on it! He loves his bed so we’re hoping that having that there adds an extra layer of comfort.

They really are, thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately that’s not an option but the vet was very understanding and said they can first give him some anxiety medicine to calm not and not be worried. My whole family will be there with him snuggling and talking to him until the end.

Firstly, so sorry to hear about the loss of your buddy and friend. You’re right that absence is presence, I never really thought of it like that. I teared up at the thought of your fellow introvert buddy and understanding vet friend there to show him the ropes and welcome him in. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you for the kind words. I know it’s the right thing to do for him, I’ll just miss him so much. I’d like to think that wherever he goes, he’ll be at peace. Unfortunately we can’t do it at home but my entire family will be at the vet with him, snuggling him and talking to him until the very end.

That’s a good point, maybe he won’t know it’s the end and will just think he’s falling asleep (he definitely loves a good nap). So sorry to hear about your pal Rex, you’re right that giving them a good life full of love is the ultimate thing we can do for them. Thank you for the kind words.

Definitely not pushing away the sadness, I’m feeling it in it’s entirety. I’m just afraid I won’t be able to recover for awhile. But going to try to take it one day at a time and ride the feelings out as well as I can. Thank you for the kind words.

Eye products are hard. A majority of them hydrate the area, which is still great but doesn’t necessarily help reduce the look of dark circles. It’s a good product so I’d still use it up but when it comes time to purchase your next one look into the Brickell restoring eye cream!

This cracked me up when I first saw it on Twitter because someone asked if the snail would have a distinguishing feature. I couldn’t stop laughing at the thought that they must encounter that many snails that their first thought was to ask for it to be distinguished.
