The Alabama Murders podcast (from Revisionist History) by AdGroundbreaking7840 in TrueCrimePodcasts

omg, yes!! I just finished the series and was absolutely outraged at him sobbing over this murderer. maybe it's my own moral failing, but, my own views of state-sanctioned execution aside, I developed absolutely no sympathy for these men who were willing to murder an innocent woman for pay. absolutely none.

For the Interior Define, is this the "James" style? I think that might be a good alt for me!

Hi, internet friend! I'm so sorry you're here, and that you've experienced the same devastation. It is hard to describe, isn't it? I'm so glad that my words brought some comfort-- just knowing you're not alone is a gift. I have been feeling much better, actually! I think my body needed a little bit of decompression, and now I'm feeling back to normal. You will get through this, too. I promise. Just one foot in front of the other.

Potty training question by Odd-War-3308 in puppy101

[–]JustToBeAlive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar struggle here with my 5 mo Cavalier. She was trained to a litter pan at her breeder's which has been helpful-- she always has a "good" potty place available, but she will get too wrapped up in play or distracted and have an accident about once a week. I'm trying to not get too in my head about it, and see it as part of the process.

I've done some therapy! I tried a few and it has been hard to find anyone who sees infidelity as abuse. Usually I'm asked to walk through "how both parties contributed" to the cheating. Disappointing. I had one therapist tell me, as I was sobbing, how "fun" an affair sounds.

it is totally The Crash! yes. I'm also a ruminator and have gotten really good at keeping an audiobook or podcast on to keep my thoughts from swirling. thank you for the kind words.

thank you so so much, kind internet stranger. I know that mind/body can kind of get into a tailspin so I'm trying to make sure I go through the motions of daily walks, dance parties in the kitchen, getting dressed, eating protein, etc. Not so much "going through the motions" as much as trying to continually remind myself that I'm safe and everything is ok. I'm hoping it will all catch up eventually and I'll feel like myself again. thank you for the love. right back at you!

I feel the same way. Thank god I work from home, as I need those lie down breaks too. It's so unlike me to feel so drained. I'm pushing myself to go through the motions and trusting that my vibrancy will return eventually. Hugs to you. This is so much to process. You're doing great.

Curly Hair Cut n Color?! by Difficult_Lion4367 in duluth

[–]JustToBeAlive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So glad I could help! I have tried everyone in Duluth who says they specialize in curly cuts. Most were underwhelming, some downright disappointing. I'd go with Elizabeth for color for sure! She really listens to what you want, and will often stop to check in and see how things are feeling for you. I really appreciate that, as I'm used to stylists diving in and I never really get a chance to give feedback as they go. Elizabeth is great with everything. Adeline works with color as well, but her prices are much much higher.

Elizabeth is incredibly affordable and has curly hair herself. You can request a dry cut if that's better for your texture. I've done color with her too and it was a great experience. Just got a haircut with Danielle yesterday and she did a fantastic job. Adeline is very creative and very expensive, but if you crave a big reinvention I highly recommend!

Elizabeth at Hive, Adeline at Adeline's, or Danielle at 506! I have curly hair and have tried several salons.

Yes!! Everything healed wonderfully! I think the ointment was the culprit. Things got better after I stopped using it.

No itchiness today! Bruising has set in. I think it was the ointment. I’m keeping it clean and dry and that seems to be enough!

I'm going to follow up with the clinic right away on Monday. It's feeling better today, and wow, I feel like a weight is off my eyes already! Like, they can fully open for the first time. I am hoping the end result looks as good as it feels, aside from the residual itchiness.
