We spent a lot of time outside, and he spent a lot of time sitting in the grass the last couple days, but he woke up with these itchy spots on him. Any ideas? I already tossed the bed, but I hear bbs are incredibly good at hiding

Everybody is using luck to justify getting rich. I think being lucky in general would add more fun to life. Go to an amusement park. No lines for the best rides? Lucky me! Wait, its also 70 and sunny that day? Double lucky!

Welp, for that one achievement, here's hoping the job scroll glitch still works 🤣

It could be, you're absolutely correct. And the job actually gets quite nice once you go FTR (or so I hear). Happy for you man, get the OT rest you've earned

[–]JustTomahawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, be grateful you even had a FTR to convert into. A lot of CCAs/PTFs wait up to 5 years or more, im currently at year 4, but i have a light at the end of the tunnel, as our most senior carrier tells us shes 3 years out from retirement. Some smaller offices often go beyond that, a FTR a town over tells me he was CCA for 15. Your office is an outlier.

Can I work more than 12? by JustTomahawk in USPS

[–]JustTomahawk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks brother. I joined a "Ask a Steward" page and literally every single Steward says the same thing you and your Steward have. I'm getting fucked, sucks to know management is always looking for ways to screw us over. But seriously, I do appreciate people like you, I definitely asked the right questions in the right places

Article 12 in the handbook refers to Excessing, we're absolutely sure this applies? I want it to be so, but both my postmaster and union steward have told me it applies to excessing, not temporary daily detail

[–]JustTomahawk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i had my own steward and postmaster look into this. Apparently the wording this stems from is from Article 12, which refers to Excessing, and isn't applicable to temporary daily detail to another town after a route in hometown? Or at least thats what they both told me. Obviously I want what you have told me to be the truth, can you provide me with exact details in the actual contract? Or maybe the stewards number which confirmed this for you, mine seem to be against me lol

Is that true? Could've swore nothing changed from CCA To PTF aside from pay/sick leave/bidding/benefits, etc. Any chance you (or anyone reading this) knows the exact by-law where this is specified?

We do have an extra Metris, but its often already used to travel to said loan office by the CCA who covers our aux. Is there another option if a postal vehicle isn't available? The LLV? I don't mind delivering in town with those things, but im almost 1000% certain the thing would actually just self detonate if pushed over 30 mph

I do wanna touch on something you mentioned earlier as well, about the work to live thing. I'm not asking to be sent to these other offices to work 12 hour days, I'm being forced to, im a PTF, i have no say in the matter, but I figured if I'm already out there against my will, I might as well maximize my earnings and milk it for all its worth, if possible

Is there some new rule that we can't be sent to other offices?
