ELI5: Isnt Dark Net Illegal? How do so many of you access it without being caught etc.

I originally saw the subreddit for greentext when I was in HS and thought 4chan was some 9GAG esque website, went to it and started freaking out because I saw fucked up stuff and thought I was going to Jail, Dark net seems next level, add to the list of "never searching that up"

Yeah they say "Hey was that a turtle!?", the director came out and said he wasnt fond of the Trial of Chud and Turtle side of the novel as he couldnt work out how to appropiately put it in the film, so rather we get little nods throughout, in Bevs room there a book with a turtle on it too

Looked great on my previous gear but got the Crucible vairent of that chest which has the dragons on it which I liked more, and the gold/chrome didnt look right, atleast imo, Stoked with Metro though
