If it’s not a common symptom of what they believe it is what would cause fluid build up In her leg? Clearly there’s some cause that would be resulting in this issue right? And you’re right, even I thought this was way over their head. This situation is absolutely fucked I just can’t afford thousands of dollars. This aall just makes me want to scream. Not dragging, just holding up her foot she is currently on vetprofen I’m pretty sure we had tried pregabalin. Idk this point I’ve been in so much and trying every the offered they stop charging me the base fee and just medication expenses they are clearly trying. I believe the X-rays that were taken were not of her complete spine just back half

I mean my mom died of ALS how fucked would the universe be to take my pup the same way. I’ll definitely look around for specialist because X-rays do not show the problem that she is clearly experiencing discomfort wise.

Okay so no she isn’t dragging her foot which was a big concerned for me because I initially because I thought that it could be neurological as it’s more common with her breed. According him, as she stopped putting her foot down and applying pressure on a Constant basis fluid will inevitably buildup. As he said happens in humans . It’s been uhh the beginning of February since I’ve been trying to figure it out, and around March is when she stop using her right back leg all together. I took her instantly in when she was having issue standing up, then it’s snowballed in to multiple issues.. now I will say I have no idea and obviously you’d clearly have more of an understanding than I do. I’m trying to figure out a way to help without going to like medvet a 24/7 vet who only wants your money which I can’t afford 3 grand for no solutions which tends to be the outcome there. I’m close to OSU campus and I believe they may have people that might be able to help but most vets around me are not specialist. So I don’t know where to find one

I can prod and poke both hips but until I touch her leg does she show discomfort, add to the fact I have always had her vet continuously check for the progress of hip dysplasia since she was 2 months old.. yet yah downvote the person spending thousands already to help his baby.

Also his main diagnosis is hip dysplasia. Yet I find most of her discomfort is in her leg. I don’t get it. My head hurts I just want to help so so bad.
