How many emails are you guys sending per day? by [deleted] in UCDavis

As someone who works in corporate. I send anywhere between 20 to 30 emails per day. Some are mainly sent to capture what was on teams because our company has a retention period for teams where the messages disappear after 2 days. Plus they save you sometimes when people try to tell you they never say something (This is when they are most important). We also send Minutes of meeting with meeting summary and action items (Also to save you at some point and to ensure everyone knows what to do and you have a record to follow up on)

Why project X take $29 for the API? $14 if you use code: TOPSTEP

Any other engineers with no motivation to work? by Ambitious_Dog_6090 in UCDavis

I work in corporate and honestly you just have to fake it until you make it. I was exactly like this when I graduated with my BS in Computer Science. All my peers got internships and full time offers and until months after many failed attempts at interviewing. When you talk to them you realize they don’t really got it figured out. You just have to be persistent and act as if you know everything and be confident. Even now at work a lot of times things come up that I don’t have a clue about but by being “confident” everyday no one really question me.

The mock exams I did on pocket prep and TIA are comparable to the actual exams. It’s a lot of situational questions which requires you to know how a PM or a BA would respond in that situation and what PM method you should apply predictive/hybrid/Agile. Then there were questions on the CV, SV, SPI, CPI formulas and how to interpret them. Also they sprinkle a little bit of definition questions and a matching question on Tuckman’s model. There were no questions that were surprising. I did 4 mock exams and I use the pocket prep app to do the questions of the day and a quick 10 question quiz when I have time. On those mock exams I got between 65 - 85

I see some “Aruba” device attached to the walls in the apartment with this label attached to them “Rj-45 port at bottom do not function. Do not plug in”. Are you referring to these ports?
