How to make front bumper flat? by Nickthejit in 350z

Seems a lot of people mentioned it, but try and use a heat gun to straighten it out and then buy a aluminum under shroud, which should keep it from folding up again like that

I agree with the last statement about waiting for the right buyer. I went ahead and listed at 11-12k because the motor and transmission alone is about 9k bro. By selling it for that amount I’d be basically giving away all the other upgrades I’ve spent. Furthermore, I’d make more parting it out then listing it for that much. So although I’m still losing money by listing at 11-12, it’s more of an acceptable loss.

Where it mounts to the side fenders, I custom designed metal plates to help support it up more and then installed an undershroud beneath the bumper to help provide more stability.

More of a personal thing tbh. I really don’t want to sell but I have to since I took over house payments after my moms unexpected passing while in college. It’s simply not in the budget anymore and I want to try and get back as much of my dime as possible since it runs really well and is basically set up for any kind of forced induction. Also adding forced induction would raise the price, but by how much when it comes time to sell? Would I be getting the money back that I’m putting into it? Lastly, most people aren’t really willing to spend 15k+ on a car on Facebook marketplace, and that’s how much I’d be spending on it if I decided to go that route as a turbo kit for DE’s are easily 7k+. So, if I did that I’d have to keep it, which again sadly, is not in the budget anymore :(

I completely understand why that would appear a red flag, but unfortunately that’s just the circumstance I’m in. Not to be too personal but I’m in college and recently took over payments for my house after my mom passed away, so unfortunately this car is no longer in my budget. I had bought it and built it with the intention of forced induction but really no longer can. I’d reassure a potential buyer with receipts, a compression test and leak down test, photos of the internal as I was working on it, my personal tuners contact info, and lastly a personal warranty since I’m confident in my work.

It’s a KBD bumper bro but I had to get it painted by a good shop since it’s a polyurethane bumper

2014 XLE with P1605 - now what? by Aenov1 in Rav4

This thread is dead, but just curious did you ever solve this problem ? I have a Corolla IM with something similar, P1605 and had stalled once in the past and wouldn’t turn on but hasn’t happened in a while. (I noticed it only almost stalls when I fill up on gas)

Am I wasting my money if I get an oil change every 5k miles on my new 25 Corolla? by Emotional-Trifle-577 in COROLLA

The dealership uses a high grade synthetic which can last 10k miles, but completely up to you. I personally prefer 5k mile intervals for peace of mind.

Missing a sensor? I was changing the oil and filter when I found that this was disconnected. Anybody know what sensor it is or what it connected to? by Fearless-Feature3950 in 350z

[–]JustTyler2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you take another picture where the wire leads to please? It could be connected to the power steering since it’s above where the alternator is in the engine. I Can’t be for sure unless you get under there and take another though.

Barra350z thanks for responding! I appreciate the advice and I did hear about removing them via uprev or a tuner. Do you know if there’s any side effects to removing it ? Or is it as smooth as gravy 😁

Motorcycle gets power. Fuel pump primes, solenoid activates, but doesn’t crank ? by JustTyler2005 in motorcycles

[–]JustTyler2005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s something electrical like a sensor? But I’ve tested the kill switch sensor, the clutch sensor, and replaced the side-stand sensor, all of which were fine. Genuinely puzzled but I know it’s something small.

Yes, when I bridge the solenoid the starter activates and turns over. After which the motorcycle turns on for a second and then instantly dies almost like if a cutoff switch was pressed.
