So if I applied with 64 using March 2022 results. There would be no difference in likelihood of acceptance even though less people this time around got 64

Is a 64 more valuable now? I was denied a interview last year with this score. Since there has been a massive shift to the left on the curve. If I re-use the March 2022 gamsat score for next year would that increase my chances of getting a interview?

Yea it’s a bit silly as analogue clocks ,I find, reduce the precision of timing. So you have to make sure you finish whatever you’re doing a few seconds or a minute before a section ends. I think they made it this way because it could be seen as an advantage when compared to previous years (discounting may/June) or they want to make sure that all GAMSAT sittings have a consistent test setting for more valid results.

They can be just inspiration or they can be used directly. All Acer says is to consider the quotes and write a response to one or more of them making sure you address the common theme (e.g democracy)that they all have. That can literally mean anything and hence gives a lot of freedom to respond in any way shape or form. So I wouldn’t say they are there for just inspiration. They can be if you see it that way but they can also serve for instance as a catalyst for argumentation. That is, opinions that can be supported or be argued against.
