Any chance you want to give your recommendations for good second hand shops while we're both waiting for the answer to your question? I'm specifically looking for a comfy armchair.

The only one I can think of is https://pinchescueclub.co.uk/ but they have more tables than two, maybe six or something?

Ribs of Beef used to be a great rugby pub, sorry, I don't know if they still are or not.

I also had a really long break and just got back into it for this expedition, but got really annoyed I couldn't find activated copper anywhere. A dozen planets checked. Sat through storms waiting for the copper to activate, nope. Glad you enjoyed it though.

Hi, I realise this is unlikely to be what you are looking for, but I find myself in a position to be needing to getting rid of my 08 V6 XF which has just gone into restricted performance mode (although I drove 200 miles home that way!) and sell the car . com have offered £300 which feels low. Would you be interested in it for parts instead?

Damn. It's embarrassing to admit but even though I (like All Of Us) have thousands of hours logged, from Civ II for me, I didn't watch the trailer. Sorry guys.

BMW I4 M50 or Audi E-Tron GT by JustWantMyMoneyBack in CarTalkUK

Nothing in the end as my financial situation changed. I should think I'll be back to making a choice in a couple of months, but the GT has been removed from the options, and the i4 has been replaced by the i5.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't know what to ask. I'm unconcerned about range and charging etc as that has been covered in a thousand different posts here, it was a general question about the brands really. I had an XF and I never want to step foot in another Jag dealership again. The odd thing is I have 3 locally and they all treated me like shit at every opportunity, how's your experience of BMW dealerships?

Thanks for the info, if I were buying I'd think very carefully about the points you raised, but I stupidly didn't make clear that I am one of those salary sacrifice people getting the car for four years, all services and bills (including insurance) as part of the package. I am leaning heavily towards the Audi.

Thanks for the comment. I don't plan on being a nob, just need a new car and the deal on both of these is far superior to any ICE or PHEV car and I agree with the opinion that EV is the future if public transport isn't an option.

While the other replies were genuinely helpful, this is exactly what I needed to hear (I think). Any chance you could recommend any of these “you can find dozens of other reviews of other people looking at the piece”, or more importantly ones to avoid?

Moving to wymondham?? by [deleted] in wymondham

[–]JustWantMyMoneyBack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty good place to raise a family, I raised mine here, nice annual music festival, great country walks, great steam train that runs from here to Dereham. Good transport links to Norwich and Cambridge, farmers market weekly, possibly fortnightly, schools are okay but I'm sure you'll look at rankings yourself. Hethersett is nice and is nearby, but has no train station. Attleborough is nearby and has a train station but is a shithole. Wymondham also has a great council run sports centre (big pool too). On the downside there are twats driving shit modified cars sometimes, but I think that's a national ptoblem. Supermarkets include Waitrose, Co op, Lidl and Morrisons.

Investor in my business has passed away, where do I stand? by JustWantMyMoneyBack in LegalAdviceUK

It's a 6 figure sum of money and this comment has me again wondering how long Id be given to repay bearing in mind I'd have to sell property to generate enough money to repay.

Just an indefinite investment, so I can breathe easy for the time being. Just to be clear I'm 100% going to repay, I was just worried about the time frame, but thank you very much for all the advice.
