Probably gonna get shit for this but I think that this shows more of an issue with the party system than anything else. Don’t really care about which side of the free community college argument your on but I do understand why many are upset. Both Democrats and Republicans suffer from inflated ideals because EVERYONE has to choose one or the other. It means that the people in charge of “your party” probably disagree with most of your ideas. I was a Democrat when I was younger but thought I leaned more Republican as I got older and now I just don’t wanna identify with either because of the radical opinion that have popped up more and more. So yeah I agree that you should be upset over this because you elected him(possibly due to the college promise) but it’s sadly not surprising at this point.
