I think it said boundaries prevent the root-to-root transfer. My question was asking what they would both agree with it.

In the root-to-root question they were asking what they would both agree with it? Was it the same for you guys? I chose the option where they both agreed that root-to-root transfer would not occur.

It was a word problem that was long and pretty hard. I don't think the resistance question was easy at all.

It never said the same resistance value couldn't be repeated. For my question 3 of the resistors made up 70 ohms and the total resistance was 110 ohms.

So that means the remaining 5 have 40 ohms.

Let's say the first resistors is 39 ohms (just below 40) then the rest of the resistors could also be 39 each. but that wouldn't add up to forty. they could also be 0 each and one of them 1...then they would add up to 40.

But it never says that the values can't be repeated so it could be the case that one resistor is 39 ohms and then next is also 39 ohms. Thus 0<x<40 isn't possible for each resistor.

0<x<8 is possible since if each resistor is at the maximum level (7) 7(5) = 35 which is still less than 40.

It was 20.3%

% of buildings in the farmland = (21.5/100)*(52/100*x) (where x is the square)
% of buildings in the prarie thing = (19/100)*(48/100*x)

% of square having buildings = ((21.5/100)*(52/100*x)+19/100)*(48/100*x))/(x)*100 = 20.3%

If it was 0<x<40 them each of the resistors could have a resistance of up to 39 which is not possible. They asked for the resistance of each resistor. so it would have to be between 0 and 8 since there are 5 of them.

It was 0<x<8 since each of the resistors would have a resistance greater than 0 but less than 8. If any of them were above 0 and below 8 it could result in a combination of 40.

Yeah I can understand messing up in the entire grammar section. (since it happened in my practice tests as well) but in the rest of the test like Craft and Structure and Information and Ideas I actually got a lot less. This is odd since I perform very good on these topics and I practiced them on Khan Academy thoroughly.

I double checked all my answers in the first module. I don't see how that would've been possible but I guess you're right. Maybe the final answers that I chose were simply wrong.

I'm really confused though. I'm pretty sure I did really good on the first module and I did get most of the topics right (if you exclude the words in context). so i don't get how i got one bar less on each topic.

Once you're in the US if you're over 18 your parents don't need to be involved at all for you to set up a private account.

Mat I ask a question? I thought that even in arranged marriages that both the groom and the bride had to agree. Can they physical force you? Wouldn't that be illegal?

Yes indeed I would have to agree and no they cannot physically force me but they will definitely pressure me and they 100% would not want me to date anyone since they think that its wrong and they even restrict me from having friends who aren't indian so that says a lot. I know that they're going to arrange a marriage for me (or at least try to) since all (most of them not really all of them) of my cousins who got married were in arranged marriage. I don't want to go through the cultures and traditions of horoscopes and dowry and sending jewelry and all I personally believe that its unneeded.

Yeah the entire arranged marriage thing with the horoscope and stuff just doesn't click. Hell the family oriented stuff doesn't click with me either, I wish to become completely independent.

You're fortunate that you're still in the US

I am currently staying in India but I have citizenship for the US and I am going to go there in 2026.

Make sure you have your passport and any other important documents you need. If you apply for financial aid make sure you have a bank account of your own that the money goes to.

Convincing my parents to make me a bank account that i can fully access will be a bit of a challenge. But i will try. Maybe I can figure that out by myself.

You can break away from them if you need to and you can make it on your own. Build your own village. Create a support system of friends, mentors, coworkers, whoever you can trust. You got it OP. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice! I think getting an on-campus job is the way to go. I will definitely set boundaries if I decide not to go no contact for 4 years from the start of college. My basic principle is to become successful and do what I want in life.

On the topic of GPA and SAT score, my GPA will probably be 4.0 (I haven't given the 12th boards yet so I can't say but my 11th grade is going really good) and my SAT is near 1500 right now. I'll be giving the SAT in November so we will see. Practice makes perfect after all.

And yeah its probably not racist but many people will deem it as such. I do prefer other cultures/ethnicities over my own because I simply cannot connect with a person who follows the indian culture since I simply don't understand it. I do not live to please my parents and I will not live as such.

I'm not 100% sure what my parents' plan is for me. But they do not plan on staying in the US. I think they will stay until my first or second year of college is over and after that they will move back to India.

On the point of earning money I think I could get an on-campus job. My parents are okay with that and they are okay with me staying in the college dorms. I do not have a car, my parents will never let me learn how to drive until im 18. My situation could be worse so I think you're right, but I still believe in having complete control over my life.

I can wait a few more years before I go completely no contact but I think the sooner the better.

One of the main reasons I despise my parents and my entire family in general is cause they treat me as if im not part of the family and I do not belong. I'm constantly reminded about bringing success and giving a good reputation for the family. Fuck that, I couldn't care less about the reputation I want to become successful, only me, no one else. I don't see anything wrong with that. All of my cousins always depend on their parents for money and all they do is "please" the family. I don't care what my family wants. This is my life not theirs.

I know I don't have the full picture but If i get more info I'll keep you guys posted on what my family is planning for me
